Also check that the BI Discovery/Onvif listening ports match to what is setup on the Dahua camera.

Looks like the 8999 should be 80 from what I saw.

blue iris..its right there in the video configuration tab...

Your Discovery/ONVIF listening port is still 8999 in BI. Change that to 80. Then click find/inspect.

I changed the 8999 to 80 and did a "find and inspect". I also checked that "admin2" has PTZ rights, and it is able to control the zoom with the Dahua web GUI using admin2??

FYI night vision switch over button no longer works in this config?

Deleting the camera and adding it again into method described above fixed this issue. Thank you for the suggestions!!

I never use Blue Iris's night vision / IR button as it breaks my camera's ability to enter day and night modes automatically and I have to dig back into the camera's web interface and change the profile/schedule back to automatic.

just press and hold the button, it puts it back to auto..

I only tested with hikvision and a long time ago...ill try again tonight on a dahua...
