check AI -> AI Parameters -> SMD for that channel / camera - is enabled?
1. After disabling SMD, when You go to live view do You see borders around people crossing this line?
2. does You have IVS configured for other cameras? does it work?
3. does AI -> AI Search -> IVS show events / thumbnails for other cameras with configured IVS?
4. does SEARCH timeline show events for other cameras with configured IVS?
So far, now the AI search is finally showing videos of AI detection in the thumbnail and showing videos playbacks. But It not marking video timeline blue in regular search like the other camera. Is the newer AI camera still supposed to mark video timeline blue flags like the older iVS cameras we have running for 7 years?
AI search is working now .. but we would like to be able to search timeline in regular search for any blue flag if it possible with the new camera. The NVR is 52xxx series also 7 years old with the latest firmware update installed.
It means that storage->schedule plan is not setup for this CHANNEL correctly..
I will double check it again ... it should be in NVR setting correct?
you storing on NVR so yes this is NVR (not camera) settings...
the new AI modules in NVR (like IVS, Face*, Video Meta Data, AcuPick) are storing own video files with events for own use..
those video files are not related to classic 24/7 time line you see in old SEARCH module..
If you want to have events to record & show in SEARCH time line module, then You must have configured all options in Storage -> schedule..
What NVR model is this?
how fresh firmware it has?
teach us how???This is correct.
All my Dahua cameras are connected to AppleTV Hub using Scrypted running on a minipc and Apple Cloud does the AI detection and it send banner alert to all of my Apple devices via Homekit setup.
teach us how???
Does this setup work with cameras that don’t have animal detection? This is exactly what I’m looking to do with a PTZ.If you're planning to use more than two cameras with Apple HomeKit, keep in mind that an Apple iCloud subscription is required. I believe the limit before needing a subscription is two cameras. Additionally, Apple iCloud only supports 1080p resolution, so if you're using 4K or 8K cameras, you'll need to configure them to stream at 1080p to be compatible with HomeKit.
To set up Apple HomeKit with your cameras, you'll need:
If you prefer not to use Apple HomeKit, Scrypted also has its own standalone app called Scrypted NVR, similar to Blue Iris. It offers AI features as well and doesn't require iCloud but you will need a PC or MiniPC to host Scrypted NVR and storage space for recordings.
- Apple TV: To act as a hub and provide AI detection.
- PC or MiniPC: To host the Scrypted app.
- HomeKit on iPhone: For viewing, playback, and notifications, which also display in picture-in-picture mode on Apple TV.
- Scrypted app: You can find it here: Scrypted
