Video storage takes a lot of space for sure, but that is why I have a 32TB HD on my Macintosh. If an incident happens, I just want to be able to review those last 2 minutes and have the video to edit. I found that a worthwhile investment, if you have a 229 Pro, is a Viofo BTR200 remote button. If something happens, press the button, and it will protect the video.Yeah the app is the way to go with settings.
Geesh 2 minutes would be 700MB files
The A229 Pro should have CPL for front camera in the box.Day and Night samples.
Note: I didnt have the CPL filter on so I'll get one with it this week to compare
Wait till you add the rear cam.Yeah the app is the way to go with settings.

YepThe A229 Pro should have CPL for front camera in the box.
I received my VIOFO A329 today. I was able to pull a RTSP steam from it and add a camera to Blue Iris. The stream is only at 640x360 at 30FPS.

Since I did not mount the dash cam yet I just used a USB type C power adapter. You can buy an extra base.OK so how did you power it without the cigarette lighter plug? I want to make setting changes at my desk...?
Same issue when I first install it. But it fit snuglt once I reinstall. I think there is a mark you have to line up before press it in.Yep
I have it on now. Will test over the weekend.
It’s just a compression fit, is very loose. May have to use a dab of something to make it stay on
Here is the hardwire kit:OK so how did you power it without the cigarette lighter plug? I want to make setting changes at my desk...?
