Thanks, they say it's correct for 15fps and to turn it up. Mine are the same at 25fps. So this is normal. ThanksCheck out this other premium-brand example and related discussion : Does this video look choppy to you?

What version of blue iris are you running? set recording to direct to disk.ok so today iv'e set all 4 cameras up and set them at 25fps in the cam gui. (all POE)
In BI they are set to max 25fps in the Video tab and im getting 14.29fps and jerky but in VLC it is smooth and if i record in vlc the saved file details say 13fps.
So, why am i only getting 14fps and why is VLC smooth and BI jerky? any ideas please? its currently nighttime, switching the cams to Day only cuts the IR but doesnt turn off the IR lights and makes no difference to the issue.
Many thanks
Edit: CPU is at 12% and RAM at 864mb
Are you certain about direct to disc? If so are you adding the timestamp back export?V 4.6.4.6 and already direct to disk
Today all cams are showing 20fps, still jerky though.
Thanks
Some cams will drop fps at night...Yes on export, all direct to disk.
FPS has dropped to 14 again now it's night, I've no idea why. All cams set at 25fps though this has never been achieved day or night
Could be a setting...could be the way the camera streams...delete the cameras in blue iris and start again.I've already excluded from anti virus, pc is i7 3.4ghz 32gb ram.
VLC is smooth at night @ 14fps and a little jerky daytime @ 20fps
Bi very jerky day and slightly less at night
The product spec suggests they are ONVIF compatible, ONVIF port=8999They come up as generic rtsp, obviously not suited to bi.
Can't find that setting in the cameras, is there one in BI as it's much better in VLCAt the risk of getting flamed, what's the shutter speed set at?
The BI clip is losing frames, the VLC clip has lost none. This causes a stutter.Any idea why BI is doing this? Direct to disk.
