Dahua Firmware Mod Kit + Modded Dahua Firmware

Hi.
A newy here :) I have no expiriences with this. Before I even try to make my camera (CN version) compatible to NVR, i need to know if a firmware for HDBW 4433R-ZS is available?

Hello, I have got an Amcrest PTZ camera IP4M-1053E, which is a rebranded Dahua. The hwid is:
[Systools]: Build on Mar 8 2017 at 02:56:33.
[Systools]:SVN NUM: 36182.
hwidValue == CA-HZ4012T-S2

The firmware it came with is:
Amcrest_SD-Mao-Rhea_Eng_N_Stream3_AMCREST_V2.422.AC02.0.R.20180706.bin
The matching Dahua PTZ IP camera SD49412T-HN firmware I could find, which is way newer version 2.623.
DH_SD-Mao-Rhea_MultiLang_NP_Stream3_IVS_V2.623.0000000.7.R.181124.bin

I can't flash this via the Amcrest web interface. Would you recommend I try this via TFTP? I could also mod the Amcrest firmware to enable Telnetd and flash via Telnet. Or will I wind up with a bricked camera?

The reason I want newer firmware is that I am not able to get it to work using H.265 under Xprotect Express+ (ONVIF). So far only H.264+ possible.

Update: flashed Dahua 2.4x firmware via TFTP and then upgraded to abovementioned version via normal Web GUI upgrade.

У меня сломалась камера dahua hdw4431c-a v2.0 (2.420.0000.22.R 2016-12-09)
Ты можешь мне выслать прошивку? или лучше копию 25q128 микросхемы? Моя камера постоянно перезагружается и нет главного видео. Камера лежала 9 месяцев, при подключении стала перезагружаться. (sncat75@gmail.com)

Я купил камеру hdw4433c-a, сделал копию прошивки, но прошивка не совместима с камерой hdw4431c-a v2.0, если кому-то нужна прошивка от hdw4433c-a, то я могу отправить копию микросхемы 25q127.

Камера hdw4633 действительно хорошая ? Ты уверен ? Я видел много видео представленных на ютубе, камера очень плохо ночью и даже солнечным днем смазывает изображение. Но лично я не пробывал.

Your Sir are a legend. I had an old 4421R-AS that I accidentally factory reset without thinking and it diverted back to Chinese. This firmware with the Config Tool fixed it but I had to do a factory reset with the Config Tool to be able to get into it. All working now with much newer firmware and English! Thank you so much.

I have Chinese IPC-HDBW4631R-ZS with latest Chinese firmware DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_Chn_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000005.0.R.190325.bin -(https://www.dahuatech.com/download/2697.html ). It is working fine except Chinese interface and it is not recognized by NVR (4104-4KS) even as ONVIF.
I was able to install international version (via TFTP) : http://pliki.dahuawiki.pl/Firmware/...Lang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000002.0.R.190111.zip however it is not working (what is obvious).
Tried to rebuild Chinese firmware but my Linux knowledge is minimum and to many errors during decompression and rebuilding the firmware.

Can any one help to get it work with NVR?

Maybe it's just me - but I don't understand what you are asking.
 
Probably. But only do it if you have a good reason. It would be tragic to brick a perfectly functional camera for no reason.

That's not really answering the question.

Nobody can really help you without knowing what your goal is. The consequences of installing that firmware are listed above.
 
I don't think you'll get help with chinese language firmware because nobody (or hardly anybody) on the forum has any desire to install or use chinese language firmware. So there's little or no knowledge or experience for anyone to share.

Yes, you can, but you cant downgrade, because fiwmrare is full signed with bootloader.
If you have full dump & programmer - so it's possible get back.

i have checked all firmware provided in this thread (also DH_IPC-HX4XXX-Eos_EngFraSpaRus_PN_Stream3_V2.420.0000.22.R.20161209.bin and
General_IPC-HX4XXX-NAND-Eos_EngChnFraSpaRus_PN_Stream3_V2.420.0000.21.R.20160724.bin provided by cor35vet) but all one seems incompatible with ipc*4433* version like IPC-HFW4433F-ZSA and IPC-HDBW4433R-ZS.

Both cam are from chinese market and came with the following version of firmware:
Device Type IPC-HDBW4433R-ZS or IPC-HFW4433-ZSA
System Version 2.621.0000.28.R, Build Date: 2017-09-12
WEB Version3.2.1.495007
ONVIF Version16.12(V2.3.1.460928)

The strange things is that also last chinese firmware DH_IPC-HX4XXX-Eos_Chn_PN_Stream3_V2.680.0000000.41.R.181212.bin that declare that support this cam in release notes https_//www.dahuatech.com/service/searchlist.html?keyword=HDBW4433R inside hwid file doesnt contains rows for *4433* cams (file attached).
Last things is that firmware 2.621 for chinese market is effectively existed but is impossible to find. Check this advisor that report it DH_IPC-HX4XXX-Eos_Chn_PN_Stream3_V2.621.0000.28.R.20170912: https_//uk.dahuasecurity.com/it/support/cybersecurity/details/337

there is anyone who has a copy or knows what firmware I can try to flash for this model of cam?

i have IPC-HDBW4431R-ZS NAND EOS chinese Aliexpress cammera on Version 2.420.0000.22.R, Build Date: 2016-12-09.
firmware with English,Spanish,French,Russian languages.
Also found some post with screenshots at Камера видеонаблюдения Dahua IPC-HDBW4431R-ZS или что там у конкурентов that there is firmware version 2.622.0000000.31.R Build date: 2017-12-14 anyone has this firmware or full NAND backup maybe ?
I can find only official chinese version 2.426.0000.22.r build date 20170309 http://www.dahuatech.com/upload/kit/dh_ipc-hx4xxx-eos_chn_pn_stream3_v2.426.0000.22.r.20170309.bin It's still not signed. But I can't update my cam to this version using DH Configtool or Web i think mine HWID is wrong.

I have programmer and so I can do full dump and restore if needed.

My question is, is it possible to somehow use old bootloader with new firmware? (i.e. possible to use the cor35vet scripts to fix up the new chinese firmware and then package it with old bootloader? Is bootloader part of the new firmware? )

Also, cant we use TFTP to downgrade to old firmware without the programmer?
