Was waiting for when someone was going to mention that. I haven't setup my IVS rules yet but did have motion events turned on and experienced the problem, loss of frames when the action occurs. Thought IVS might be different...If I'm right, the lost frames should happen on motion events, too
IPC-HWD5231R-Z ... the infamous Starlight Turretaristobrat what camera do you have ?i have the same nvr but didn't try tripwire yet
Love these cameras! Have two installed and three on the way. I've had a lot of fun getting them setup!i also have 5 of those same cameras...
Just searched my log for the past 3 months and I have had no reboot issues like@aristobrat has reported.Anyone else having these same reboot issues? My NVR5216-4KS2 is one its way from Ali and its a little disheartening.
@cryptelli, that's awesome to hear. I wonder why @aristobrat is having so many issues.Just searched my log for the past 3 months and I have had no reboot issues like@aristobrat has reported.
Right. Will have to test myself although @nayr has them configured and states he isn't having an issue. That reboot flag isn't even listed on the Dahua Wiki Troubleshoot/NVR/Errors Found In Log - Dahua WikiThe reboots on mine always follow IVS events.
Welcome to my luck. I'm hoping that @EMPIRETECANDY might be able to ask about what that flag means while he's at Dahua the new few days.Very strange...
That's worth a shot.might try resetting it to defaults and setting it back up
Ok, this might be a stupid question. @nayr I see you record at 20 FPS using VBR and a quality level of 6. Do these settings only apply to the NVR? I was under the impression the NVR and camera should be set the same. IE, if you record at 20 FPS then the camera should also be set up at 20 FPS. Is this correct?pretty much the same here; but im not recording at such a low bitrate..
