I just downloaded the new firmware for my 5231R-Z cams. There were two of them though. Which one do I use?
One says Eng_P_Stream3 the other says EngSpnFrn_NStream3
???

The "P" is PAL and the "N" is NTSC. Either will work, but I've been using PAL on all my surveillance cameras. It seems to be the "preferred" format.

Sorry to hear that. Got my first, and last?, IPC-HDW5231R-Z last week and was just planning to buy another. What model do you offer and recommend as a good comparable turret camera? No PTZ needed, The HDW5231R-Z capabilities work for me.

Hey, i have 7 of these cameras and two of them are pretty badly out of focus. What is the best way to re-focus these?

IPC-HDBW5231R-Z/ZE
IPC-HDBW5231E-Z/ZE
IPC-HDXX42XX-XX also use this firmware, such as IPC-HDW4231EM-AS/ASE, IPC-HDBW4231F-AS, IPC-HDBW4231E-AS/ASE , IPC-HFW4231S,IPC-HFW4231E-S/SE.

And all models with DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea also can use this one, new firmware can select PAL/NTSC. So future all cams will no PAL or NTSC, this is good for some guys, because they always think PAL can't work at US or NTSC can't use at PAl regions.

Thanks. I did miss that part for the HDBW4231F-E2-M. I'm still looking for SD1A203T-GN.

@nymphaeles - I found newer firmware for the SD1A203T-GN on the Dahua Australia site here.... https://www.dahuasecurity.com/au/search/download-center?keyword=SD1A203T

It does work fine on mine and I was able to load the NTSC firmware (mine came with PAL) which give better frame rates too. The SD1A203T seems to be an odd one. It uses Mao Rhea firmware but most all other Mao Rhea (and plain Rhea) firmware files I found do not actually have the SD1A203T in them.... Also if you have been to the US site you might have to manually change to the Dahua international Australia site to get to the pages. This is the one I found - [NTSC]DH_SD-Mao-Rhea_EngSpnFrn_N_Stream3_IVS_V2.622.0000000.7.R.180404.

FYI, this firmware is not applicable for IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M. I gave it several tries, all failed to apply.

FYI, this firmware is not applicable for IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M. I gave it several tries, all failed to apply.
