DS-2CD2335FWD-I - Hikvision Ultra Low Light 3M camera

Is there any way to know the sensor model of the 2335 and of the 2385? Imx?

The new Chinese equivalant of these cameras are rated at .002 lux for both 2mp and 3mp. And half the price

Well, its these new low light models but the Chinese version. Other sensor specs seem the same, sensor size, fov etc so looks like its the same sensor but strange how it was given a different lux rating.
 
Hi, Xinray has one of these for sale DS-2CD2335-I, anyone know if it's the same as DS-2CD2335WFD-I?

I wanted an ultra low light hikvision for the night, don't care if firmware is upgradable or not.
 
2B3EF9BF-F797-405D-A7D3-686554239F21.png Just installed my Turret. Very happy with the night picture. The day picture is slightly worse than the 4mp it replaced but Night was more important to me. Also, the microsd card slot was a nice addition.
 
Looking to replace one or two of my DS-2CD2142-FWD-IS with a camera that will provide much better low light capability. Particularly in my backyard which because there is little to reflect on, as you can see in this pic, is pretty bad.Backyard.JPG

Would this camera be the "best" one in that price range given I have a Hik 7616 NVR?

It depends on who you ask, the HIK crew or the D crew..

But for me this camera does the job and as you have the HIK NVR it's going to give you the most options to play with and the better comparability.

Hi Fenderman,

Is it the same in terms of night time picture quality?
I know it's definately different because 2335-I doesn't have SD storage but I wasn't concerned about that - just the low light image quality.
