Find the cat :)

Was that a solar power motion activated light?

Yep, still is actually. I took it down because it quit working. Then I tore it apart, cleaned up the switch and battery contacts, charged the battery and viola! When I fix this stuff, I usually give it at least 3 days to be sure before I put it back up. What appeared to be breakage was simply the light popping off of the mount.

............... 3 months plus of being here for multiple meals a day every single day, but she never stopped wanting to be an outside cat. One time as I was putting food out for her, she accidentally walked past me in to the house and had an absolute terrified/panic attack when she figured out where she was. I carefully(!!!) herded her back outside. Last time on a cam was 11:41pm last night walking down the road. No traffic, so there's that but... I'm not too optimistic at this point.... Bummed...

So.... over the past year to three years, I've tracked 4 feral cats on my cams. They never came very close except for under the deck. This was the tan one this afternoon:

Yes! After not being around for 30 some hours (didn't get a hit from a single cam), guess who showed up for breakfast? When I opened up the door blinds, she danced all over the place, then she ate more than usual until her belly was full and also had a good amount of water. Finally, she went right back to bed. She definitely fooled me with this one because I was seriously thinking that she'd ended up as some other critter's meal.

Definitely that last word there @johnfitz ... Last night, a cam caught that big white male cat and the female that we feed taking care of business. With summers spent on a farm in my younger days, I already knew the drill but... first thing my wife thought was that they were fighting (because that's what it usually looks like). Then she thought it was non-consensual (because that is also what it usually looks like). Even after I explained it to her, she still had to google it :p
