Just included this pic because the snapshot was taken with an 8 year old Huisun 20x PTZ cam that is still working great (night time shots are also still great). It's all luck of the draw, but I was really lucky with this one. She's about 180 feet out.
Her coloring really works out well for her. When she's in the leaves in the brush she can be almost impossible to spot. Even on our waterfall rock she blends in pretty well.
Comparing the two pictures sure did help. I would say on top of the fallen "log" about the level of that tree stump top on the lower left. Also, maybe a couple of feet to the left of the top of the tree stump.
Because she was under there for a short while to get out of the rain the other night, I figured... why not? I put a thick door mat on the shelf under the BBQ grill this morning. This is her 3rd nap there today.
