I have a spool of direct burial True cable cat5E, It terminates outdoors on one end, and back to the rack on the other end, I pulled home runs. Camera to switch. It runs along the ceiling of a couple long underground garages which occasionally have plumbing leaks onto them....So it's suited for the purpose. It terminates nice. Can't speak to longevity underground though....
