In general I have been disappointed with the newer Lorex cameras using smaller sensors.
As such I think the Lorex kits are less useful if you need low light performance.
The cameras in this kit look like newer models which I do not know much about about, so I would have to check of they are even dahua oem.
If the kit is a dahua oem ip poe kit .. then you could typically augment it with a few better dahua oem cameras.
One nice thing that I like(d) about costco is the return policy .. IMHO the best around for security cameras .. so you could typically take a kit home and bench test before climbing any ladders to see of they work for your setup.

Yes that thread you posted is still a good list as I update that list as new cams come out and members here (including myself) have tried and tested them and are willing to put them into our system.
