Gas prices

I really like that!

I read/heard that even if the station owner agrees with the stickers, they may be required to remove them by the company...it's probably why you don't see other stickers.

Now, is there a fuel resistant laminate you can put over the stickers to place them where you show? Seems they won't last long there with people putting the nozzle tip there with gas on it.

This whole "I did that" sticker thing is really kind of crazy to me. Since when did people find it acceptable to put stickers on other people's property without the owner's permission? Can I just go around putting stickers on your cars? What if I want to put a sticker on your cameras or house or mailbox?

It's similar to the graffiti "artists", only with a definite political message as well which make it "politically incorrect".

Yeah, I laugh every time I see it, but I wouldn't want them on my personal property.

I've got the same reaction every time I hear "Let's go Brandon". Very funny, but I won't personally use that language because I respect the office even if I'm opposed to most of the office-holders agendas.

I want to focus on positive ideas for building the future and not spending energy name-calling. I know, I'm old school like that when people respected others while being opposed to their ideas.

My problem with third party candidates is that we end up like we did in 1992 (ancient history I know, haha). While Bush wasn't great as a result of Perrot we ended up with eight years of Slick Willy, who had a slick willy. It would take a particularly outstanding candidate with a very special "appeal" and an outstanding agenda in ALL areas to get elected.

I realize that this is a somewhat "circular" argument but it is the reality of the situation. I have yet to see a third party candidate, even locally, that has that unique combination of personality and agenda which, in the end, is very unfortunate.

That’s why primary’s are so important. Weed out the rinos, and put a actual conservative on the ballat.

Last year at Our local elections, it was a school board cycle. At that time no one was really thinking about the importance of school board elections. There was a opening for two and they were both going to be incompetent incumbent’s like the entire school board.

One good friend of mine and a lady I goto church with decided to make a run, but they were out of time to make it on the ballot. So they ran as write in’s. They both won by a landslide.

At this point, I think 3rd parties are better suited for local elections where they can actually go out and meet every single one of their potential voters. Not at the national level yet.

The key right now is to primary every single socialist who is running with a R behind their name.

Fundamentally, conservatism places responsibility with the individual. That leaves little for politicians to do, which is why it's uncommon for conservatives to be interested in running for political office. Politics is entirely focused on coercing behavior (that's the very definition of politics), so it's already a mismatch in values. The progressive mind thinks all problems are best solved at the highest level of government, and their genius Great Leaders will solve them for us. They're eager to involve themselves in politics because they have no inhibition to coercing behavior and sacrificing liberty in the process. Name any problem at all, like an ant infestation in your home, and they will gladly dream up a government program to handle it (probably by creating ant sanctuaries in the neighbors house).

It takes an honest politician to tell a person with complaint, or even a real and tragic problem, that government isn't the answer. What politician these days will tell someone that they won't address an issue because it's outside the scope of government to effectively solve?

Why is Biden traveling 6500+ miles to discuss increasing oil production with the Saudis?
He should be meeting with American producers in Texas, Oklahoma, and more states at home.
There have the energy!

Oh, there is no hope now. Joe's girl reject it.

Tucker Carlson showed a clip last night of Biden when he was running stating he was going to do away with fossil fuels - everyone heard him but no one was actually listening.
He just put the cart before the horse by killing fuel production BEFORE the infrastructure was in place to more easily and efficiently migrate toward EV's.....IMO. The way it's going about is adding more crippling prices to already financially strapped households.

They just ripped the Band-Aid off in one yank which is not the way to go about it in this instance, again IMO.

He did the same thing with the withdrawal from Afghanistan. He's the Bass Ackwards President afterall.

i think they try to make a recession to control the oil price and inflation. There is no real good way now, watch the stock market and the Bitcoin.
Easy way is to make more drill, or else how to make more refining ???

Unfortunately there have been no new refineries built in the US since the 1990's. Of those that were online then a number are now either "retired" or have been converted to refining ag products, ethanol. Then there's the problem that refineries are oil type specific, heavy versus light crude, and it gets pretty difficult to wave that magic wand and increase outputs.

Wait until China decides that Taiwan is their property and actually acts on it.
With the dems top economic "expert" stating she didn't see inflation coming (she stated this last year) and she doesn't see recession coming (which every other person having a brain sees coming), things are only going to get worse.

If everyone saw inflation coming, umm, why didn't the "fiscal conservative" republicans vote no to the trillions of "stimulus" dollars Trump gave away? Why don't they vote no every time a deficit spending bill comes along? It's almost like neither party is capable of balancing a checkbook, so why do we keep voting for them? Vote third party all the way and if one isn't an option, write in or vote against the incumbent. Every time. It's the only way to fix anything - get rid of both parties. They're both the same - big government and big spending.

Regarding Oil availability and pricing, is it writ large somewhere that Oil and its byproducts (and price...) will be guaranteed into perpetuity, looks like I must have missed that somewhere. Miracle perhaps?
Is it also possible, that apparently most people though seemed to think so, and since future planning isn't peoples strong suit; that instead of purchasing more efficient vehicles, they bought instead Suburban Assault Vehicles (whatever form they take) which get on the order of 10 mpg (going downhill with a tailwind, with the ignition off...). Since they bought into some crazy notion that whatever Deity they believed in (not the orange one....) that gas would be 2 bucks a gallon forever more??? Then finally reality sets in and the screams are heard round the world.
