GMAIL Failure? Anyone Else?

I checked the firmware release notes and the Supported Product List for (2xx2) does not include DS-2CD2032-I mini IR bullet.

Has anyone upgraded their DS-2CD2032-I mini IR bullet camera with the new v5.4.0 firmware and does it function properly?

Yes, I've updated a few DS-2CD2032-I mini-bullets to v5.4.0 without issue. Enabling TLS will fix email issues.

i have v5.4.0 but it doest work, please write exactly what is the build number of your v5.4.0.
 
solved: issue was the gmail account needed to be changed to allow less secure access.

The latest available build for the DS-2CD2020F-I is the build you're currently running, v5.4.0 build 160401. It's part of the R2 series, so firmware builds from the R0 series (DS-2CD2032-I etc.) or R6 series (DS-2CD2042WD-I etc.) won't be able to be applied to your camera.
Recreate these settings and try again - let me know how you get on.

- SMTP Server - smtp.gmail.com (NOT smtp.google.com)
- SMTP Port - 25
- E-mail Encryption - TLS
- Enable STARTTLS
- User Name / Password - Your Gmail login credentials​

If unsuccessful, try changing the SMTP port to 465 or 587 as 25 may be blocked.

test mail not work on my hikvision camera. I changed the google settings for app with not security.

You should read through the thread - the answer for your problem (and a whole range of related ones) is mentioned a lot.

You'll need to update your camera's firmware to v5.4.0 to send emails via Gmail. This version introduced TLS encryption for emails, which is now necessary when using Gmail.

As always, make sure your camera is able to be upgraded with international firmware, and is not a Chinese model.

my model is chinese with menù multilanguage.
I read other post on this problem. But the problem is also with other email.
The problem of tls on gmail you can bypass it, put settings of security app to disable...and the tls certificate will not ask from it.

With hotmail.it account i have same problem. I think is a problem software as the email settings are non existent.

How i can upgrade firmware with china import model ?

Hikvision just replied to my email asking if the hybrid dvr was going to have a firmware upgrade and to be told that its not as its old now. The distributors are still selling them.
So thats Gmail out of the window for me and 4 of my customers.
Any idea how to get BTinternet email settings working as I can't get those working either.

depends on the firmwares, but on my cam i had to enable TLS to work with gmail. On the older cam, i dont even have the TLS option just SSL, but luckily there it works on port 25 without SSL at the ISP mail server. So, give it a try with a different smpt server, for example given by your Internet Service Provider, because those allow port 25 without SSL usually
