Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Just thought I’d get some feedback here before buying this it seems like a good deal? Thanks for your time

I've installed the Hikvision version of this cam and they're sweet seamless image stitch great coverage and built tough. I've seen them as low as $209 on ebay but I don't know if the vendors are trustworthy.

Anyone have some working human Intrusion settings for the Annke NCD800? I can't seem to get mine to see a human and would prefer to not have it use BI/code projectScreenshot 2023-08-25 at 12.28.46 PM.png

I just placed an order for the Annke NCD800 for $200/camera, flash deal, available either as bullet or turret model, at Annke.com.
Excellent overview camera and best-ever price I have seen.

Hello there,

I have an issue that you guys might help me with that. I have bought annke I51DX panoramatic annke camera. I have N48PAW NVR with firmware V4.30.010 build 20210511 and this is the last one working from official annke webpage. The newer one with V4.71.000 build 20220627 is on annke webpage as well but its written that firmware before 210605 (I dont know what it means tbh) is not working, Its still on 0%, I have tried it. The reason why im writing this post is that my friend has same camera I51DX panoramatic annke and same NVR N48PAW but with firmware V4.71.205 build 230411 version of HW: C-R-K21B2-00 and it is working for him. In my NVR it says connecting and thats it, it has dc from POE but its not online and connected. I have tried ONVIF instead of IPCAM but no luck at all.

Do you have any suggestion how to fix my issue? I wrote to official annke support but so far no one responded.

Thank you.

Perhaps test without nvr?

Other Annke users report their N48PAW NVR as a Hikvision K74 platform/board.
Your NVR could be older/different.
That SSH access method may provide more information/assistance, but tread EXTREMELY carefully.
Attempting to apply firmware not expressly intended for the device could very well BRICK it.

Now, those warnings having been stated, you might wish to check out firmware from this Hikvision EU page
That page was linked from this discussion thread.
Look three items up from the bottom of the first post. The link is outdated, but this link above should be the same firmware.

Thank you very much for reply!

I did debug on NVR and platform is indeed K74

# dmesg

However, link that you provided is with platform K51 and the only platform that I found for K74 is this one:

The latest one is 4.30. which is not solving my problem. By any chance, do you know if I can use K51 firmware for K74 platform? or it will brick NVR? Did anyone tried that?

Thanks for response!

Sorry about that. :( Hikvision has never made it particularly easy to identify their software packages. Perhaps another forum member who has a similar model may chime in. In the meantime, I WOULD NOT try loading K51 firmware on the K74 board.

I only posted that link because the other thread said this, indicating the NI-K2 4- and 8-port versions would work for the N48PAW. If I had to guess, I'd say Hikvision issued a few different boards and called them all N48PAW. :(

Annke had this special for Halloween. This was the best price I have seen so far. Do note that these have the plastic housings and not the metal ones that Hikvision and other OEM's carry.

The NCD800 has turned out to be an excellent camera for where I already have wire in place at the middle of a long wall.
I updated the firmware to Hikvision firmware, and with help from earlier in this thread, got it working with BI.
Recently I added a second NCD800 at a different wall.
I updated the firmware with a now available later version of the Hikvision firmware.
Here is the problem with the second NCD800:
I cannot get the sub stream to work in BI, following the detailed steps earlier in this thread.
Wondering if anybody has run into this problem, and if they were able to figure it out.
One possibility might be to flash to the earlier version of Hikvision firmware, since the sub stream worked with the first NCD800 camera (earlier this year).
Since I have the first NCD800 working on the same BI install, I opened the settings of both cameras side by side for both the first and second cameras (different firmware) and went through screen by screen. It all looks the same though there are minor differences in the interface.
Suggestions?

Postscript:
Finally got around to solving the problem.
Applied/flashed the cam to the earlier version of firmware, and all is working fine.
At first some of the features/settings fields were not showing up, but I suspect I had gotten sloppy with the steps of applying the firmware.
Did it again, and everything was fine.
Note to self: follow steps methodically, getting lazy means having to do it over

WAIT WAIT WAIT!
Research carefully. The ebay link provided got me excited but though it says it is model FCD800 it also lists it as MPN I51DX and that it has IR and has 2×1/2.5" Progressive Scan CMOS. These specs make it look more like the FCD600 which still on sale on their website for $89.99 (I have bought 2 of these)
When I compare Annke.com to Annketech(ebay) and Security Annke Technology(Amazon) there are too many loose ends.
As far as the above Amazon link it is for an FCD800. That is not a recognized model on their website. Their true color camera is the NCD800 which is 4K and has double 4MP 1/1.8 BSI sensor. That camera is on sale for $199 on their website.
I don't know who to trust or believe but am happy with the cheapies that I bought from annke.com though their communications leaves a lot to be desired.
