Hello everyone
I watch regularly forum but I'm doing very badly in English, I just read the posts with automatic translator with many difficulties.
But I have a problem.
I ordered on Aliexpress a camera Hikvision DS-2CD3Q10FD-IW Multilingual.
But I got a Chinese language camera only.
Fimware 5.3.0 build 150327
My dealer told me that he did not file for the firmware upgrade multilingual.
I saw a post on this forum of 123456 (page 16) digicap.dav a file but to version 5.2.0. but it does not work on my update the camera is not done with an error message in Chinese !!
Can a person on the forum would file for my camera to version 5.3.0 with the French included?
I do not think I saw on the forum.

Hoping that one day a solution exists.
It is not possible to downgrade the camera in 5.2.0 ?
For in 5.2.0 the multilingual version exists
And she is not recognized by my NVR DS-7104N-SN (language mismatch or parameter error).

The solution has not been made public.
It is available but hasn't been made freely available

Whoslooking's downgrader isn't compatible with the latest firmware that the cameras are being shipped with yet.

I'm sure it is only a matter of time

Me and my friend hacked hikvision encyption of digicap..tar files. It's AES and key is in kernel image. Unpacker and packer is ready. Release soon. Now we try to find the way to repack the whole firmware. It is already done, files is accepted by webinterface but camera reboots after it.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, there is no english FW availible for my DS-7808N-E2/8P.
Does anyone know how i can mod an chinese FW to english?
Or is it true that i can use the DS-7600 FW after modding it with HIKTOOLS?

Yes, you should be able to use 76xxN-Ex firmware - but remember that the 'lang' option in Hiktools changes the language in the firmware header so that the NVR will not reject loading of the firmware due to 'language mismatch'.
It does not change the region setting of the NVR.
What version of firmware are you currently using?

I haven't reveived the NVR yet, it's still on it's way...so i don't know yet.

I'm aware of the region setting, but i will be using chinese cam's anyway

My guess is it's coming with 3.3.4 from the factory

If it's lower than 3.3.4 then even better

It won't work
If it's got a manufacturer date of 09/2015 or newer with 3.3.4 firmware loaded it won't work you'll get constant beeping with illegal device flashing on the serial interface (if you use it) and nvr won't boot

First i will try to upload the modifed DS76XX ML file....

As you will have seen from this forum - Hikvision firmware updates, cameras and / or NVRs - can be pretty troublesome.

I'm still waiting for the 5.3.3 firmware to be released before I mess with it, it's new hardware, the HiSilicon 3516a chipset with H.265 encoding.
