Hikvision FIRMWARE TOOLS - change language, extract files and create own firmware

Hi. I need to change some files in the firmware of this camera iDS-2VS435-F840-EY(T5) (firmware iDS-2VS435-F840-EY(T5) ). I used the hickpack utility, but the output is archives of an unknown format (maybe they are encrypted). Can you help figure out how to unpack, change and pack the firmware for this camera. Thank you.

Can anyone help repack the new intercom firmware? The one posted by Ivan cannot change my version. It appears to be downgrade protection.
I updated to the version from 07/07/2023. Got Chinese.

Hello everyone, I've got a ds-kh9510 indoor intercom display from China, and am lost in info whether it's possible to "turn it" English or not. Any help is appreciated.
edit: turns out patching ds-kh9510 is as easy as it can get. however now I've got an issue with ds-kh6530-c1

I have bought two cameras: one ot it hikvision DS-IPC-K34H-LT from China
V5.7.12 build 230614
V7.3 build 230510

The interface is on Chineese.
I could not connect it to IVMS-4200.
Is it possible to downgrade or upgrade a firmware to improve it?
I appreciate if somebody could resolve my problem?

That firmware blocks any attempt to downgrade the version from that currently installed.
Even if a downgrade was possible, it would not change the fact that the camera is stamped internally as a Chinese device.

Suggestion: return them and request the vendor supply EN versions.

Hi Folks, as many here I didn't realise until after that cameras bought elsewhere would have firmware update issues. The serial number doesn't have the Chinese code but does have AAWRAX(XXXXXXX) at the end. The supplier has sent a Hiktool.exe file that is different from what I've seen here but requires the camera to be directly connected to a PC which is less than ideal for obvious reasons. Anything I need to know about that serial number before I start experimenting?

Where did you purchase them from?
What's the firmware version of the cameras?
What issues have you seen so far?
