Yeah don't think the police will do anything...have the officers the pic but they said they couldn't make it out. There was a traffic cam...they said it's not even hooked up to anything...

The f150 in the photo is not a 2021, but it could be stolen or switched tags.

Using your original suggestion Y886AP - I plugged into carmax selling a vehicle option. I got a 2008 f150 with the vin.

Pass it along to your insurance company. They have an incentive to run it down vs the police.
Looks like a 2004-08. The chance of them having insurance is probably slim to none unfortunately

Is the image a screenshot or an exported image. If it is an screenshot post and exported image, this might have better quality.
It is really hit or miss. Sometimes you get lucky and find it with a Google search. There are companies that for a few bucks you can get that info, but it can be hot or miss as well.
At this point I would say it is worth the few dollars to buy the report and get an address and do a drive by and if you can tell it had damage then call the police.
