anyone have thought to get my motion detection working on IVMS4200NVR? I also cannot get it on 4200 to record (have 32 GB in cam). I can manually record in 4200 though..still working a few bugs out but cool cam so far !

Disassembled and reassembled my dead Huisun several times. Hoping it was just a connection problem with a ribbon cable. Also tried several 12V 2A power adapters and a PoE injector. No sign of life. Still completely dead.

Add me to the list. V1 dead after 6 months. Used maybe 4 - 5 weeks and has sat powered down since. Tried to power it up tonight and no go.

Sorry to hear that you had a v1 fail also. That's not good news. I hope this isn't a sign that the v1 Huisun's have a very limited lifespan. :(

Any v2 failures? Or just mainly v1?

I may have to invest in one of the v2 cameras. Your focus seems to be ok even when using the digital zoom. When I do a optical zoom to 10x with the v1 cameras, the focus doesn't seem to want to lock in. If I back it off a little to about 8.5x, then it's ok.

10x

8.5x
I have this exact problem now with my v1. When at 10x zoom, it hunts around trying to focus. If I back out to 8x it can find its focus.

Finally got the Imporx v2 camera installed on my garage today. It's under the eave, so hopefully it'll be protected from the sun most of the day. I almost installed it too high because it comes within 1/8" of hitting the trim that hangs down from the eave when the camera initializes and does its dance. Hopefully this one will last longer than the v1 Huisun that died a few weeks ago.

I have 4 cameras on the outside of the garage and 5 inside. I'm thinking that might be overkill for a 20' x 24' garage. :peaceful:

I'm thinking that you need to step up to autonomous auto-patrol drones triggered by Blue Iris alerts Lar. Launch the drones! All drones airborne! Enemy at the Gates!

We had a lightning storm in my area yesterday and the power went out for a few minutes. When the power came back on I lost connection with one of my Poker 10x PTZ cameras. Haven't had a chance to check it yet but hoping it's the power adapter and not the camera that failed. The Huisun v1 and Imporx v2 cameras survived the surge. Guess it's time to invest in some better surge protectors.
