Huisun Camera Order Delay or Cancelled

New update: DHL got the tracking number from Huisun at 4:56pm their time (last night my time) but has not picked it up yet. Seems to be a move for the positive.

Regarding my side note on this clone in a previous post (http://www.ebay.com/itm/231772834303)...

I asked the vendor a question about it (and delivery), here is their response:

"there is bad news i just got from the factory..they can not produce this camera before chinese news year.
they have too many order queue to produce..and some worker start to back to home.
so i think this purchase need to process after we back ."

So, the dreaded Chinese New Year affect is in effect already...

AliExpress canceled the order today and I did not hear a word from Monica. 2 messages unanswered. Now looking for an alternate, any suggestions?

+1 bob2701. My order was canceled today. I have not heard from Monica is a week. Suggestions on alternate suppliers are appreciated. Now also looking into the Huisun Speed Dome as the 2nd gen mini PTZ seems to be having problems.

wait a month for Chinese new yr to be over and wait till stock is back up. Nerves must be of steal to order from china at this time of yr. And get some good reviews before ordering of v2 ptz.

I know this is off topic but, those of you that buy from Aliexpress do you realize this site is for specialists in knock off products ? they can make anything ..An example of thier lack of laws they even copy currency just go to thier search engine and for you US residents type in american silver eagles. Since there are no laws in China governing what so ever on underground items which Ali express has always be famous for so my question and in all honesty how do you know you are getting what you think? They even have Apple stores that arent apple .These knock offs will have instructions, lens pc boards everything copied and will in most cases even perform ok. I buy from China as well and who knows what I get as well but, I gamble with them on say a Hikvision for under $100 range. I would like to buy a $ 400 PTZ like the ones you are discussing but, not sure if its worth the gamble.Please take this question in a positive way I am not trying to be a dic and let me know if what they do send is working well for you.

I think everybody here pretty much understands that when you're dealing with Chinese shops, you put down your money and you take your chances. That's why I always use an intermediary for the funds like AliExpress or PayPal...

I think the popularity of the cameras may have caught them off guard in terms of production. I had ordered 2 cameras from a vendor, and the 7 days came and went with not update. I then emailed Melissa of Monitech and asked about ordering. She had the Gen1 of the x10, but only had limited pieces of the Gen2. I would prefer the Gen2, but figured I'd wait a bit to let some of the kinks workout since it's just being released. I ordered a x3 to play with since I wanted the wider lens then the x10 had. I updated after and asked if I could order a 2nd. The 1st one had shipped, but she said there would be a delay on the 2nd as Huisan said that orders had exceeded production, and was it urgent or could I wait. I told her I was in no rush since the first one had shipped (and it's just to play with), and I knew the New Year was coming up, so to just let me know when it was in.

Just to update my own post, I arrived home last night to find my order waiting for me at my door (DHL). (the x3 model). Everything looked good and while I didn't have time to play with it, I did connect it and verified it had power.

Received my refund today from AliExpress. Nice to see some part of the order worked.

Still shopping around for something else. Anyone have any suggestions for at least a 3x ptz with good night image?

Just to update my own post, I arrived home last night to find my order waiting for me at my door (DHL). (the x3 model). Everything looked good and while I didn't have time to play with it, I did connect it and verified it had power.

I still want the x10, but I have a few locations where I wanted the wider 3mm vs the 5.1mm and the ability to move, the zoom was just a bonus, so got this one to try and compare for coverage when I order the x10 after the New Year. Looks like the storm will be passing south of us this weekend, so I should be able to get it up on the house and get some test shots I'll post in it's own thread.

They canceled my order on the 19th and my refund was posted to my cc on the 20th. Maybe it depends on cc company and country.

You've ordered from Aliexpress... 3 days is nothing, your expectations are way too high. If you wanted local customer service you should've ordered local.

Considering, orders cancelled after mine have been refunded already, I find it bothersome, at most. My only expectation is that I get my money back! (which I will) Besides, I'm just updating the facts. Their site clearly says it could take up to 10 days.
