Now on your laptop Tom

This is exactly what i did while in this thread with you guys

open ivms

go to device manager

click add camera

in the ip address put your EXTERNAL IP

Then the port for the particular camera

then you user name and password

click finished

if it pops up with your camera serial number you're on the right track

do this for all cameras

Don't forget on each camera you need to change the RSTP port for me it is 1025 cam 1 1026 cam 2 etc etc then in your router you will forward the RSTP port to the individual camera as TCP

it should fire right up after that

when i enable DHCP,

the camera wants to reboot, but changes the ip address and locks up

is this what you mean by 'reserve the dhcp address'

In your router you need to assign each camera its own static IP address so that why anytime the cameras are on the router gives it the IP. OR you can uptick the dhcp and input the IP address you want it to have. I do both that way its not changing at all

example
camera 1 192.168.1.125
camera 2 192.168.1.126
camera 3 192.168.1.127

ETC ETC

LMFAO well thats a good thing isn't it? thats what you original post wanted right HAHA

You want it to show up under the external IP if your viewing outside aka remotely

On the computer its going to to be that same as the phone

just change the Ip address on each camera to the external IP. and port

Make sure tho you assign a different RSTP port to each camera and forward that port to the internal ip of each camera
