Don't that figure.

Too bad you don't have audio to hear what they were saying.

I bet they are going to each act like their car was hit in a parking lot, but then it goes against their insurance?

Or they will say the car was stolen and leave it somewhere?

Something isn't right.

They arrived together, seemed to know each other. No screaming, no commotion. Lines the car up, crashed, and left!

Crazy times

Thanks for that capture .. funny how they picked the perfect spot ..

Notice the new car already had a dent on the rear passenger back panel .. so perhaps looking to make the new car new??

With car prices super high now ... who knows what the angle of this game is ..

Appears to be a deliberate hit, possible insurance fraud with:

mail it to the major insurance companies LOL.

Just mail the number plates in an email saying you have evidence of what youi believe is fraud and to contact you if the vehicle is insured with them, or better still, ring around and ask to speak to someone in the fraud department of each company. I'm guessing the fraud dept will be keen to spot possible fraud.

It will be funny if it is a fraud to get the car repaired. Claim denied and an even bigger bill than before they started irrespective of whether the police take any action. Plus over here, they'd probably cancel your insurance and it would be expenisve and difficult to get in the future from any company as they share info.

They will both say they came out of the mall and this was what they saw. They will take the check and spend it. They will not fix the car. Their insurance will not go up for the first hit. Even if it does, they will just not carry insurance. Not like it is a crime to have no insurance, right? In Harris county I am sure no one will ever be prosecuted for it.

I'd go with this. In fact, I doubt you will need to contact every insurance company, just the major ones. I'd bet they routinely exchange information between each other on possible fraud.

What you can also do is put together a Youtube video of the incident with a private link, and include that link in the email. I routinely do this when I report crimes recorded on my cameras to my local PD.

Just called HPD back to find out if they were coming, they said an officer was never dispatched because no one from the accident called :banghead:

Does anyone want to commit some insurance fraud with me? The police don't care, we could get away with it even if someone tries to report it

I'm ok
I had a policeman tell me that they only take reports on burglary because "insurance covers it all anyway"
It was over $2,000, and I had the plate number that did it. Nothing ever happened.
Second time was a B & E, by a homeless that lived about 150' away. They did not even go talk to the guy.
