Looks good on a shelf or desk.Cool looking camera, looking forward to seeing some results. Looks like it would not be a visual eyesore if used inside, also. It does not look weatherproof, had to look up the spec sheet to verify but it is in fact IP-66.
My camera does not have this issue. Try deleting the camera and starting over.I am having a little bit of a struggle with having BI only trigger when this camera's PIR Alarm triggers.
Initially, this configuration works great:
BI:
Video > Configure... | Select "Get events with PullPointSubscription"
Trigger > Sources | Only "Camera's digital input or motion" selected
CAMERA:
Setting > Event | Only "Alarm" > "PIR Alarm" is enabled
The struggle I'm running into is that after that's all setup and running great, if I do anything that makes BI disconnect/reconnect to the camera (like save an edit to the camera's properties in BI or restart the BI service), somehow "Motion Detection" gets enabled on the camera.
Needless to say, with both "Motion Detection" and "PIR Alarm" enabled on the camera, BI gets triggered a lot more than I want. If I go back into the camera and disable "Motion Detection", everything is good until I do something within BI that causes it to disconnect/reconnect from the camera... then "Motion Detection" on the camera gets re-enabled.
What you can do in the interim, is to uncheck the schedule for the motion detection and or delete the covered area. This way it will not trigger. The downside is that sd card recording on the camera will only occur if the subject is close enough for the pir.I am having a little bit of a struggle with having BI only trigger when this camera's PIR Alarm triggers.

Good idea, I'll give the schedule thing a try tomorrow! When I was playing around with areas last night, it seemed like Motion Detection and PIR Alarm both use the same area map... if I deleted the covered area in Motion Detection, then the PIR Alarm didn't work because its covered area also showed as being deleted. If I added covered area back into PIR Alarm, then the same covered area showed back up in Motion Detection. What you can do in the interim, is to uncheck the schedule for the motion detection and or delete the covered area.
That may be, so then simply disable the schedule for the motion.Good idea, I'll give the schedule thing a try tomorrow! Think its ip66 should be fine outside 8 believeReally like these cams. Would love a proper outdoor version of these. My only dislike is how the mount and how the cable is exposed. Love the fact it has built in PIR and audio recording.
Would anyone here recommend getting these as outdoor camera's?
I probably look to get around 6 of them.
I wouldn't expect any problems outdoors with an IP66 rating, either. With that rating, it should be able to handle being sprayed with "powerful jets", so whatever Mother Nature throws at it weather-wise should be fine... except for floods .. IP66 stuff can't be submerged.Think its ip66 should be fine outside 8 believe
sure can work with BI, @fenderman is working with BI for the two way audio function working out with BI.Tks guys, Aristobrat how you finding the PIR detection? Does it work well with BlueIris?
I've been running BI for many years with some Hikvision 3MP domes, Its served me well. But moving to a new house so leaving the Hiks behind.
These cams look great, Small and packed with features. Will hit up Empire for a few around the house and one main PTZ with autotracking at the front.
