I still can't see PIR or passive infrared sensor
odd when you consider how high the lux is on this camera.
how can it use night visual ques to turn on the spot light,
when the lux is unable to make out the zone movement.

You are confused. The camera has a low lux rating compared to most others. It also has IR capability in addition to the white light. It certainly has a pir sensir, you can see it in the image. Lorex is calling it dual motion technology. The specify pir in the 1080p model.odd when you consider how high the lux is on this camera.

The lux rating will vary with shutter speed as you can see from the dahua specs..this camera is identical.but isn't a ip cam that says it's 0.07 lux no IR better at night vision than op's model that claims it's 0.7 lux no IR ?
"most other" 4k have better lux rating than 0.7 no IR, but then again they don't have built in white flashlights.
for example the current 4k hikvision bullets i'm considering are 0.1 no IR and the dahau is 0.5 no IR.
anyway, thanks for confirming OP has a PIR, and they simply call it something else.
ipc-hfw1831c-pir this model only have 2.8mm lens, i try to book some 4mm, but they said no such lens. @fenderman
The camera should be ready this week.

Not sure now, 130-140usd to US, maybe cheaper. I will check when i get the cam this weekend. What's the expected cost on these?
They make a mistake for the box , lolI'd be glad to test the HDCVI model for you
The siren itself is not that loud you wont hear it inside your house. You can also send any audio wav file via blue iris and adjust volume further. Something like hey you, the cops are on the way and only set it to trigger via pir between 1am and 5am or when you are away.questions about the siren....
you would only want this triggered via a phone app when watchin live right?
woudnt set this up for motion triggering for the average person.. un less live on a big ranch, etc?
