IPC-T5442T-ZE IPC-T5442TM-AS latest new firmware General_IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_NP_Stream3_V2.800.15OG004.0.R.201203

Will have no need for "wide" IR-led at all. This means I wont use IR at all.
I don't think the IR is as focused as you might think. No reason not to use the IR just because you can't turn off the 'wide' IR. If that is a problem, cover it with some black electrical tape.

I think so. I downloaded it just fine.
Maybe try to download with another browser/device???
Hm, thank you for info. Tried Firefox, Chrome, Edge. Same results.

EDIT: Dont know what happened, but it is working now.

Has anyone encountered any problems with switching from day to night? the day / night function when enabled works only with day mode! I have three IPC-HDW5442TM-AS-LED cams but at the time of the same problem all 3 cams!

Dahua's have always been problematic with day/night - you have to either set it to a schedule in the profile (and then change it periodically due to changing sunrise/sunset times) or use the utility someone created here to allow the change to occur automatically based on sunrise/sunset.

I see Dahua released a new firmware on their site for the HX5XXX series, DH_IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_NP_Stream3_V2.820.0000000.2.R.210403. Does this firmware update to SMD 3.0?

I have:
EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE

System Version V2.800.15OG004.0.R, Build Date: 2020-12-03

WEB Version V3.2.1.948164

ONVIF Version 19.12(V2.7.0.907196

BlueIris: 5.4.3.8

I can't seem to get IVS, intrusion to work.

The camera will record the event to the SD, but BlueIris never triggers on the event.

My user and password in the camera network setting in BI is one I created in the camera in the ONVIF user area thats in the admin group.

I can see the live view of the camera fine in BI, just no events ever, and the BI log never says anything about being subscribed to events, as I've seen mentioned.

BI is working fine with the AItool.

Could it be this version of the firmware?

That looks right. Totally different subject, but why not use the substreams to bring your CPU down?

Make sure that under AI in Blue Iris that you do not have this camera doing that as well - seems to be a bug at the moment and not working people have said.

I would try a reboot of the camera and your BI computer. Sometimes, especially with all the recent updates, a good reboot gets this working.

If that doesn't, then usually deleting the camera and adding it back in does the trick. I was helping out a member last night with a similar issue and that fixed it.

Have you tried not using IVS and making sure the onvif trigger is working from the basic motion detection as a starting point?
I'm using this camera with SMD and it's working on the latest BI release as well as the integrated DeepStack.
When I first set that up I had to play with the camera settings more than BI to ensure the trigger worked.
