IR Cannon w/Adjustable Focus

Ive got 3 of em running and no falures.. one is enclosed in a birdhouse and before I drilled vent holes it was reaching 140 degrees inside the birdhouse.. that one has been running almost a year
 
nayr, where did you get the mount used for the IR light in your pic? I would like to get something similar. Thanks.
 
Thanks. Better than my original thought of using the metal pipe "tape". Just bought several of the lights from aliexpress. Slowly putting everything together for camera system.
 
Wouldn't it be better to go with the TP-Link PoE Injector instead of this 12v splitter?

so far so good, with camera @ night its pulling about 12W (1A) but the internal IR is disabled.. I tried the iCreatin and it struggles to put out 1A and feed was dropping out on my LPR cam..

*edit* after a week of use its doing great still, no packet loss, no interface errors, no dropouts.. very happy.

Not sure when you ordered but after contacting the seller and speaking with "Jo" she informed me of the following.

I am in the market for one of these but if they had stock when you ordered and have had issues that might put me off.
 
This seller never replied to the dispute I started. When I ordered it Feb 13th, I got email saying it has been shipped. No tracking info ever sent, or communication from seller.
 
Still haven't received the ones I ordered. I requested an extension to give it more time and see if they would arrive later, and the seller accepted the extension a day later with a comment that they would check with the post office in China. Tracking info still just shows "seller shipped" a month later, but we'll see what happens. Not too hopeful at this point.

Mine said it shipped in Jan. Still haven't received it. Eprid extended till March 17th. I contacted them and they said the will check with the po. No word yet. Never could track it either. If not here in 4 days, I'm requesting a refund.

That looks a bit smaller then the one in the review. How is that one working out for you?

Together with all the other toys in a box waiting for my new house to be ready.

I did some testing and it is only good at very narrow angle compared to the other ir units i have, but those are 10 watts, so cannot really compare them.
 
nayr, my IR Illuminators just stopped working. (I purchased the ones you originally suggested and they worked perfectly).

I am unable to find them or even an adjustable 850nm IR Illuminator on the market. I've searched Alibaba, eBay and any website I could find.
Any chance you know of a company still selling the product? My night vision License Plate capture is useless without the IR illumination.
