I'm not throwing this out here as a serious suggestion, only saying the first thing that came to my mind.
What if the US gave Israel New Jersey, a state that is a bit larger than Israel. They move here, and absolutely level Israel as they leave. The Muslims continue killing each other fighting over the sand and dirt and make nothing of the land, because they are focused on destruction rather than creation.

I don't understand how assets were abandoned like that. Valuable assets could have been strategically removed prior to evacuating the area, and everything else destroyed. Heck, a helicopter landing to kill Bin Laden was botched, and they still managed to complete the mission and destroy the incapacitated helicopter in the process.
