Are we talking about the bullets or the domes? I doubt if the bullets have a internal mic. Don't know about the domes.

I mean our bullets...although I can see how we're confused because korakora has both, and it's hard to keep straight...
 
I use shared audio in BI, so didn't need to order the models that include audio/alarm.

Looking over your cam list, it comes as no surprise you have found what each does best, and maximized their individual attributes. Favorite child and the whipping boys. :)

Yeah, I try to keep one camera with a mic in every location so I can share the audio with the other cameras in that area. All of the cameras with built-in mics are indoor cameras but protected from the weather. I have 5 critter cameras on the back of my shed including one indoor camera with built-in mic which is under a lean-to. It supplies the audio for the other 4 cameras. I'm sure glad that Ken added the shared audio feature to BI. :)

hahaha yeah even my wife told me why you put this camera all over the house, this is not army headquarter LOL
but every man need hobby for week end, this is worthed to be a week end toys

*why you not buying audio+alarm+poe model? just extra $10 but in the future who knows you will need it
 
To be honest I don't need the Alarm & Audio, just POE. I have a couple of cameras with audio and haven't really utilized the audio side of them. My partner use to moan about the amount of cameras I have around my property but when I look in the logs within BlueIris she seems to log into them quite a lot for somebody who says we don’t need them!!


In my area I think there has been about 5 crime related incidents in about 7 years, I guess low risk (couple of car break ins, couple of sheds and 1 house) the police have knocked on my door and asked did I pick up anything on my cameras from time to time ;)


For me as well as a hobby I find it useful to known who or what has been snooping around my property in my absence and when my partner and daughter are in the house alone she can instantly see who is outside if she hears any noises etc. I have a wall mounted screen that displays all my feeds in real-time via BlueIris.


Call my paranoid…. I call it looking after my own ;)
 
me also actually only need poe, but since there is a bugs firmware of this camera which is always in motion detection trigger all areas have been determined although a certain area, so lucky to be have alternative to the alarm input I connect to the PIR sensor, solve no false alarm again :)

so like i said, u will never know when it can be usefull on the future

I have mini PTZ IP Camera from Monica, at first started in web (http).
Now can not I access the http in any brauser.
How to reset to factory default? I not see reset button, and can not access the web interface to reset there.
SADP occurs but can not change the http port.
I see me ip camera in Blue iris on RTSP port 554. worcks good.but not can see in HTTP brouser.
Please tell me how to fix this to see in http brauser.Thancks.
 
Hi, I am new here. Came to ipcamtalk for Blue Iris info, and you guys got me into ordering one of these with POE, Alarm, and Audio. My credit card company actually declined the charge every time I tried to order. I had to call the CC company in order to get the payment through. I hope they have it in stock. How long does it take to ship from China to USA west coast via DHL? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Futaba and congrats on the order. My mini PTZ took 8 days from China to WA state by DHL.
 
Thanks Larebear. I am in Washington State as well. I read on the other thread that the company is out of stock. I guess I will have to wait a bit before it will be shipped.
 
I just ordered two more of the cameras a couple days ago, so will probably have to wait a while too if they're back-ordered. The last two I ordered will be shipped by ePacket. You'll probably get yours before I do. :)

Didn't see a reply to this observation. The camera needs to track normal walking if not faster moving objects. Will it do that? Posts 546-548.

hehehe...fenderman is correct, i'm walking really slow but not waiting for the cam catch up for me for cam speed, the camera is speed dome moving verry fast of coz it will catch up the object
but that cam is design for wide area 20x optical zoom, so i have to disable auto zoom if i'm install it on small area, i'm walking about 3 meters from camera, so yes like fenderman said the cam will skip the object coz it will lost object verry fast if the object moving verry near to the cam, but if the object moving more than 10 meters from that cam it will smooth

The networking part I have down its the installing the outdoor camera and running cables that I do t know how to do.

Sorry for the noob question but how are you sharing the audio exactly. I'm not following what is going on in your setup.
