What I have noticed is that by using a bigger power supply and a separate power feed not using Poe the speed of the ptz improves
It's still not lightening fast but it is better
I also got used to the speed dome speed first so that didn't help lol

Hrmm the model number not the same .. Second model number have a P in it while the first didn't have the P
Are you sure it the same camera? I was getting ready to order one at the discounted price from the web link you provided then I noticed the difference in the model number.

Yes I am aware of that but the poster is claiming if you use that link you would get a full config camera for only 139.00 which is a 10 dollar discount from 149.00 and claimed that the model number in the 139.00 implied it the full config camera. When I look at the model number on the 139.00, it implies it not a full config camera.

Pages look different a bit but listing appears to be the same as well as the model number. I would clarify with Monica before ordering and expecting a full config for $139.

With P = PoE only. No different from links on first page as far as I can tell.
Well I only need a poe switch or injector for one camera really. So that would be a bit overkill.

I also have cube camera like that, I guess if you wear 1amp for POE power will not be enough, many people complain that sometimes does not turn IR, including I've ever experienced, since i'm using with 802.3af poe camera never troubled again until now, my point is that cube camera requires little power rather large, if fitted 1amp I'm affraid will not be enough power

I message Monica and she said no NAS support. I replied back asking if they are plan on adding NAS in future but haven't heard back from her yet.
After reading this thread, I went ahead and ordered one from them. I believe it will be a good camera and I will just find other method to store the recording. I personally don't like NVR. I do have a server rack (HTPC) downstairs which all my TV shows and movie recordings are stored in and I am thinking of upgrading it to i7 and run both HTPC and BI on it. I already asked on the HTPC forum if anyone running both on same unit and several responded that they are without a hiccup.
Only concern I will have is the auto commercial editing program, it have high CPU usage when scanning through my TV show recordings and edit out all of the commercial automatically but I think I can adjust the program to limit cpu usage which will take longer to process.
Any of you using one of them plastic weatherproof electric box like from Lowes or Home Depot then bolt this camera on it and connect the wires inside of it? I wondered how much this camera weight and if the electric box lid is strong enough for the camera to be bolted onto it.

Most IP cams are 12V. it supplies needed voltage using POE standard. I've been using 5 of these for wifi Hikvision cameras, one of the plugs failed after 2 years didn't affect camera.

As klasipca stated, the PoE injector should work fine with the Huisun. I've used both a standard PoE injector and a PoE 8 port switch with mine and had no problems with either. Both are 802.3af compliant.

Looks like the same boxes I always use.... About $2, very good quality and never had a drop of water in them even under very heavy rain.

They are working on a second generation cam which is currently in testing phase. It doesn't look much different on the outside but uses newer Ambarella chipset which could improve image quality and performance even further.
