Well, you know, we have good and bad moments, but learning to work together through themLOL. I hope you'll be very happy together! :semi-twins:

This looks like a side effect of owning cams with Chinese interface大声笑!
Pretty sure they're not steppers. They certainly don't make the noise of one. Much simpler to drive brush motors. If they are steppers motors (which is obviously the case), speed depends upon firmware.
Who knows we are currently at maximum speed (allowed by hardware)??
How would you design such a motorization? I certainly would'nt rely on timings to achieve accuracy inPretty sure they're not steppers. They certainly don't make the noise of one. Much

That's exactly what our mini ptz does at start. A servomotor does'nt need that. Therefore, on first power up, the controller will have to activate the stepper motor and turn it to a known position, e.g. until it activates an end limit switch.
You make very good points. I wonder if their $35 analog camera has the same drive mechanism (probably). I think I'll buy one - at a minimum it will fun to take apart. Might prove to be a good source of replacement parts for the PT portion. How would you design such a motorization? I certainly would'nt rely on timings to achieve accuracy in
positionning. So the other alternative would be servomotors.
But I am not sure analog servomotors would lead to such an accuracy... We will see over time when temperature and other elements vary. It will give us a definite answer.

I am spoiled and I want more! Well by more I mean even betterJust got my third Huisun mini ptz up and running. No matter what some may say, I think these are really great cameras for the price. I have three now and will probably wait for the 2nd generation to be released and might order a few more to replace my Hik's and other cameras. You get kind of spoiled with PTZ as others have mentioned. I especially like the capability to zoom in on a subject.
Our 2nd generation mini PTZ camera is in final testing now.
Monica will inform you once it is available.
Regards,
Peter
Actually, I sent another request to Lucy couple days ago, but reply came from Peter todayOk, but I want to deal with Candy.
