I don't need one so I don't really want to bite on this one, but why not just ask him to show some screenshots at night or better yet give access to demo

I don't need one either since I ordered a V1 3X to substitute the V2 4X.
But I do agree with klasipca why not ask for access to an install demo camera, if they want to sale these V2's with all the problems they had they must supply a demo camera to assure any buyer of the quality of night time video.

He just sent me address of the new cam, but I can't access it, did you try?
 
Nevermind, it's just very slow connection, but I can see the the image and it does look like it was fixed.
 
I asked him to change to 5 fps but we are all trying to hit it at the same time... I did see the night image though while using Ptz and it looks as good as 10x

Cool! I keep getting a plug-in error and don't have time to mess with IE settings. I'll probably take a look when I get home. It will probably be daytime by then.
 
Didn't get to that screen. It wasn't firmware change though, they upgrade lens, so what Monica was saying this was lens issue was true.
