Hmm..I may need to pick one or two up, I have some areas I need a wider view then then x10 would give me (the x4 I got was awful, so just left those areas with the v1 x3). Guessing the 'improved' x4 is on his store, or is it a request only?

Nope, maybe he did took it down. Anyway, i already saw night video where I took the screenshots which confirmed they addressed the issue with the night image.
 
Yes those images looked good as well as the day time view that I saw.
So, I'll be the Guinea Pig. Just ordered one with the mobile app. $110 and change Epacket.
 
Wondered if he willing to sell the replacement lens only - I would buy them even if I had to desolder the old ones out since I own a surface mount desolder station here

Someone want to ask Jack for me?

I was thinking about it but already reached capacity of mini PTZs and still haven't mounted one more 10x

It seems to work very well. I have not mounted it outside yet because the place I want to mount it only has a single gang box right now. i purchased a double gang box but the POE is still to big to keep everything inside the box. I'm going to paint the POE white and epoxy it to the top of the box in place of the pipe shown below. Taking more time than I planned for.
