Mini PTZ v2: Firmware discussion

any one know how to default the camera with out knowing the pass code????
You should be able to access via telnet, and peek in the contents of
/tmp/home/config/config_net.ini
to see the plaintext web GUI passwords in the [user] section.
Check your conversations for the telnet details.

See the file contents using :
cat /tmp/home/config/config_net.ini

**edit**
Actually - the path might be
/home/config/config_net.ini
and
cat /home/config/config_net.ini

i have just got this firmware from jack, as the cammera was crashing - upgrade at your own risk.

  • Model Number: YC-110AR
Chip type = Am_S2Lm

-----------------
Upgrade Notes:

During the upgrade process, ensure that the network is smooth and do not power off during the upgrade process. Otherwise, the device will crash.

Upgrade steps:

1: IE through the first upgrade IPNC_S2l2.0.1_build20161020102012.zip this file, automatically restart after the implementation of the second step of upgrading.

2: and then upgrade the kernel file UPG_S_Kernel_201611231524.zip, after the upgrade is complete, IE restore the default operation can be.

Hi,
can you say me the Password of the File?

I have some Problems to use the Mini PTZ with IP Cam Viever. Can help me anyone?

The camera can use the file as it is, the file does not need to be unzipped for it to use it.
If you want to look inside the file to explore the contents, the unzip password is package.bin - unless it has been changed since I last looked ages ago.
The unzipped file is another zip file but with no password.

Copex any chance you still have these files? Links are dead
Did you ever get them? Links are still dead.

I own 2 of these V2 cams. One had problems when it was sub zero out for a couple of weeks this year. When the IR came on, it would just want to reboot. Thinking that it might be a power supply issue, I tried a few different 2a plus power supplies. No luck, so I swapped it out for a non-PTZ cam for the rest of the winter as there aren't many critters out to watch anyway when it's that cold.
Once it got warmer out, I gave it a shot, but it was still doing the reboot thing when the IR came on at night. So, with nothing to lose, I tried re-installing the firmware. That fixed it! One problem though, while the PTZ works perfectly with the browser interface, Only the Presets work in BI. Man, I've tried every combination of cams/PTZ devices. Video is good, PTZ is only Presets in BI.
There are two different firmwares here in this thread that I was able to grab. Same thing with any of them (thus me wanting to at least try the newest). The other cam works perfectly. I tried simply copying the IP of the non PTZ working cam into the config for the cam that works (just in case I was doing something even more stupid than usual ;) ). Same thing...
Anyone have any insight? We use the PTZ all the time watching the critters around here, and I'd sure like to NOT have to use the browser interface (instead of BI) to do so.

did you try deleting the cam from BI completely, then adding it back? I've had similar issues with PTZ's in general. sometimes, BI gets confused for some reason...

HAH! Check that out, that did it. THANK YOU! I thought for sure that inserting it's info into the working cam's config would handle it. Like you said though...

Good day, please do not know someone how to do a factory reset on the camera YUNCH 10X PTZ YC-110AR, can not find the network or otherwise connect to it. I disassembled the camera, but nowhere to reset. Thank you for any advice.

Here you go :

I installed the shared firmware (IPNC_S2l2.1.1_build20170314122826.zip+UPG_S_Kernel_201611231524(1).zip). I'm not so happy. When turning, the camera was very blurred. It was much better with previous firmware(IPNC_S2l2.0.1_build201607221508.zip). You can put the previous firmware back somehow. Downgrade does not work through the Web GUI .Could you help me. Thanks.

I'm curious, I have a Mini PTZ v2 that's been running for years and was wondering, did it ever support Auto-Tracking, as in recognizing and following targets in the image?

I've searched this thread and found others mentioning it, but it's unclear whether they're talking about auto-focus tracking or target tracking. I'm running the following firmware but don't see anything in the settings for auto-tracking targets. Thanks.

Firmware: v2.1.1 Build 20170314122826S
Control: MiniPtx_V2.0.1build201701131443
Plugin: 1.0.4.43
