Thank you @mat200. That one looks like the C500 to me. Another thing I found is that the only encoding option I can select is H265. There is no H265+ or H264 available. I use H264 on my BI cameras so that creates another issue for me.

@Mike A. @mat200 the specs they sent don't show h264 for this camera unfortunately. That being said, it was just an Excel file they sent so.. legit The drop-down in the video section of the gui just doesn't have any other option besides "265".

Some specs look similar to the older model 8MP 15fps 1/2.5" sensor...

That's very odd. Never seen a cam without 264. It must support it and the limitation likely just an interface issue.

Does it use a plug-in? Maybe try reloading and/or with another browser? Probably won't change a selection in a drop-down like that though.

Nice find! Does yours also have the un-tinted photoresistor showing? Mine doesn't, just has the microphone hole which I don't see in this camera's pictures. The capabilities listed are also different like 8mp at 20fps vs 15fps on the one I have.

It is just like yours. Only small hole for the microphone. the photoresistor is tinted.

I'll keep searching to see what else I can find ;-)

Use internet explorer 11 and put the IP address of the webcam in the address bar. I run my cameras on the same LAN as the PC I use.

@CrazyMan Go it. I removed the camera connection from the NVR and connected to the router. Then followed your instructions. Thanks!

BTW, you can do 265+, here is the screenshot Video screen options:


If you select 'yes', a message will pop-up and state:
"when H.265+ is enabled, functions such ROI, SVC, Main Stream Smoothing are not support".

I'm still new to the IP cameras... so much more to learn!

I ordered 2 C800 and got one old model (all metal, regular old mounting base size) and one new one (more plasticky base, smaller mounting base).

Are folks keeping the new model or sending it back? The seller on Amazon has one picture in their listing that says "random model will be sent out but they are the same". Obviously, they aren't.

I also recently purchased C800 4K HD (I91BM) and it hard to find info about this. I'm still new with camera 4k as well. My other cameras has fewer option compare to this camera.

Also, do you know what kind of junction box will work with this unit? I can't find any information about it. Closed one I found is DS-1280ZJ-S for C500 one not sure whether they are same or not.

New to this forum so Hi!
Just bought some Annke c800 bullet cameras, but after chatting with support about whether they have audio they have suggested I wait for the new I91BL which has Audio and the SD card slot, so essentially the same as the new turret.

Did anyone find out what Hikvision model equivalent this is and whether I can move to the Hikvision firmware?

Wanted the new cameras for the microphones but not sure whether to go with the old C800 bullet or go with the new ones, could someone give me some advice!

I have not had any success finding the equivalent. It is for sure a Hikvision, based on the MAC address test.

Well... I bought the cameras to learn about the technology and have some fun seeing wildlife around the property. It was very inexpensive on black Friday, so I didn't feel bad if I had to trash it.

I definitely like the addition of audio. Picture is very good in the day, and as you might expect, not so much at night. I wish the camera came with 3.6 or 6 mm instead of 2.8 mm.

If you want it to identify people at night, then you’ll need at least a 6 mm lens with DarkFighter.

Again it is a fun camera to play with, but not for serious monitoring.

if you want less hassle, my 2 cents is to stay away from rebrands such as Annke, and stick with Legit Hikvision or Dahua cams.

@looney2ns is correct. We were quite fortunate a few years back to find the Annke rebrands of the Hikvision cube cameras. Not so much good from them, since then.
