Nightvision / Starlight only available on 2MP ?

Hi to all,

I need to purchase two camera (dome type), i plan to mount it on the wall (of my house).
When i use IP Video System Design Tool, i have found two interesting cam :

DH-SD50430U-HNI for the front
IPC-HDBW5631R-ZE on the side (more discreet)

Both cam doesn't have Starlight feature
When i parse Dahua catalog, it's seems that they introduce Starlight vision only on 2MP cam model !
Someone know why ?

2MP is too low, so i need to have at least 4MP model.
Do you know if the nightvision with DH-SD50430U-HNI and IPC-HDBW5631R-ZE is correct ? equal than starlight ?
What do you suggest if these cam are not able to be use in nightvision ?

you say 2mp is "too low" did you even look at the difference in pixel density between the two?
almost all cameras have built in IR and "nightvision"...the difference is that starlight cams are much better in low light and at night...
avoid domes...look for a turret design.

Here is an example of why Domes are problematic outdoors:
Camera great during day - awful at night

Do take a look at the various reviews members have posted here on the starlight cameras with comparison pictures with other cameras, including 4mp cameras.
