Multicast is unrelated..it simply allows you to send the stream to multiple devices while only pulling a single stream from the camera.
set the i-picture interval to 1s instead of 3.
So I want to share a night time test. I just did Real quick LOL by placing the camera on Garbage Can LOL. Anyhow.. So first here are the picture what my iPhone 11 pro see..
Now here is what the camera sees... everything is auto..
This was recorded using VLC Player.. I wish I could make Blueiris work.. I am sure with help of IPCT and BI Support will get it to work with BI and some point.. First impression for me with the camera. I love it !!
There is a light above my garage. The iPhone shot was taken the same time when the camera was recording for comparison Again this was just sitting on the garbage bin LOL I wanna make BI work somehow and then maybe mount it temp I am not sure.. The Enclosure box for this is $1300
It's awesome. total overkill for home security purposes and I Iove it.
when you do mount it outside, make sure you have several other cams watching it so it doesn't get stolen...

Alright I wanna share finally Somewhat success got Blueiris to work with this camera. Once I drop the camera to FULL HD instead of 4k. That does the trick. Now the question becomes Do you think I just need to try this on a Newer processor if yes I do have a plan to build 3990x Ryzen with two 2080ti or 3080 if that releases in time.
Or Should I test this on a friend 9900k Also any expert advise on what can I try next to make it to work in 4k. Also keep in mind 4k rtsp works fine using vlc its just bi.
i have several (3) 4k cams (8MP) running in my BI install (on an I7-4790), along with 20 other cams at 3-5MP, so total pixel count shouldn't be the issue...
I am still not sure why 4k video is the issue, Once the camera is to full HD BI works. But the 4k Only works thru VLC using the rtsp, or the camera UI by going to the camera ip offcourse.
