Yet another example of the lying liberal press politicizing everything they can. The left has made the pandemic inseparable from politics, and as a result nothing they say about it can be believed. Their decision to use the pandemic to hurt Trump has probably cost more lives than what they falsely claim Thrump's decisions have.

To be fair, I watched my fair share of coverage of the jubilation and CNN consistently said there should be more distancing going on, though praised most of the folks for wearing masks. The Biden address to the nation had spots marked out so drive-in cars of families could theoretically physically distance from others, though many people of course formed throngs of partying.
One CNN reporter kept saying he didn't want to be a nag (or words to that effect) but that in a pandemic people needed to do better.
What we have found is that masked groups of protesters outside don't contribute much to the spread, so the parties yesterday probably will be similar, to the extent people wore masks.
Had it been a Trump victory I'm sure there wouldn't even have been an attempt at distancing and masks would have been few and far between. And people would have been calling on Trump to take Bannon's advice and put Dr. Fauci's head on a pike. Who needs science anyway?

It's not hard to understand that the spread will be less at an event that takes precautions than one that actively flaunts them. Notice how I also didn't mention Trump at all until this post but you felt the need to jump to his defense. It's rather telling. I am not in favor of them celebrating like this. I think it is dumb and counterproductive. We need to get to work to undo the damage and get this pandemic moving in the right direction.

No, I get it. We have to shut down sporting events, indoor dining, churches, bars, gyms, etc because we wouldn't want to have a spike, even with everyone there wearing masks. But the celebration is justifiable. Not a peep from the MSM.
