Pandemic threat? Anyone else concerned?

Another article, this time about failure to lock in n a second batch of the Pfizer vaccine for Q2 delivery. Note, we may not need that batch, but we might need it. Would have been sensible to lock it in.

So Fauci: Failing Up While Botching Science And Undermining U.S. Allies

Anthony Fauci has shown himself to be a feckless bureaucrat whose ego and cowardice has done more harm than good to the United States and world in a time we desperately needed precisely the opposite. It’s therefore perfectly fitting that he should join the Biden administration, whose motto is nothing if not “Nobody cares who we hurt as long as the media won’t cover it.”

Faucki, is an "I love you Hillary". He is also a public servant, on the tax payer dole, this is grandstanding with that governor in NY that killed all those old folks.

No patients!

I dont doubt that there is a blow up in the Reno area, but every hospital prepares for excess capacity, I recall reading 125%+ . Same as the hospital ship in NYC and the “lack of ventilators”

Well, one doesn't just go into an active hospital ward and start filming. Not just COVID-19 contamination risk, but patient privacy issues. The parking lot ward has already had to treat over 200 patients due to lack of space in the hospital proper. Creating a ward in a parking lot goes far beyond the routine "preparing for surge capacity" where some space is converted to ICU.

The point is that around the country, our health system... both resources and personnel... are stretched more than ever before and are quickly approaching the breaking point. If you don't believe me, talk to a doctor that works in an ER or ICU.

Not sure what you mean by this. Sounds like you are "COVID-denying" again. If you don't believe me, and don't believe statistics showing things are getting out of control across the country, will you believe my Trump-supporting governor Holcomb of Indiana? Keep in mind Indiana has a republican supermajority and all important positions in the COVID-19 reporting chain are held by republicans.

I'll even give you a link on a FOX station so you can't say it's the liberal media bending the truth.

"Indiana is on fire" -direct quote by Holcomb

“Our nurses, doctors, and assistants are overwhelmed. They’re beyond exhausted,” the governor said. He explained the new directive will begin December 16 through January 3 in order to lighten the load of health care workers and make sure facilities are not overrun in the coming weeks.

Watch the video.

Of course, we wouldn't be doing quite so badly if the Governor hadn't kept everything open at full capacity through election day... and now we are about a week away from a post-Thanksgiving serious case surge.

Is your job considered essential?

I mean unless you’re front line doc or nurse, would you have the same attitude if both you and your spouse (god bless her for her patience) we’re both unemployed due to shutting things down for say 6 months?
