I saw a video of some vegans and farmers arguing about killing cattle for food and leather. One of the points was about how much energy is required for ranching. The rancher/farmer asked about the belt the vegan was wearing and she said it was 'vegan leather'. Which seemed strange to me that she was proud of her belt that was made of vegan leather.
I wonder how many vegans it takes to make a belt? Or a shoe? And what do they do with the meat after? This can't be legal?
