Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

Finally got mine mounted and seems ok so far but haven't tested enough to see if any of the previous issues are present.

I have noticed something odd though
When you set a tour up it works fine but it seems you can't start it again at all.

I might have not set it up correctly as I only just started delving into the options.

2 things I can tell you

1 the thing is LOUD! I can hear it move 3 rooms away lol

2. The hikvision nvr doesn't like the onvif ptz controls.
The presents don't seem to work unless that's because they are set on the camera and not nvr.

presets are set on camera and so should be the tour

Exactly as I thought
Can't seem to get it start again after it's stopped even by manually hitting start.
I didn't actually set it to stop so not sure why it did
Only way i can get it to start again is by deleting it and then 're adding it

Quick question regarding the aspect ratio.

I'm sure 2mp should be 16:9 but mine seems to be 4:3 When set to 2mp.

As I'm viewing on a widescreen monitor it looks ridiculous.

Is there any way to change this whilst keeping the 2mp resolution?

Light (IR or visible) attracts flying bugs, which attracts spiders to put webs up around such lights to catch em.. best solution is to disable onboard IR and go w/external illuminators... but that gets expensive for a PTZ with a large area of view.

cheapest solution is a duster on an extending pole, just keep it clean manually.

When installing the mic I found one of my power leads to the camera snapped. It was making contact but surely could have been the problem. I don't know iif it snapped when I took the camera off the mount or what but glad I had to get up in there. Microphone working awesome btw. Used the bullet mic Nayr recommended. Very happy! I have the Sealevel installed in BI now that the update fixed my bug. I have the pyramid 3a model 12v ps powering my pir's. Everything is working great! Installing the pir's tomorrow.

Live mode in Web browser bottom left W:H Original Adaptive.
Yeah but that only works on the web ui as I'm viewing it through an nvr it doesn't help it on that.

I was always under the impression 2mp was 16:9
The other 2mp cameras I have certainly are
