Since the Loryta are rebranded Hikvisions can/do you still use the official Hikvision firmware when updating the cameras? Also do these cameras support all the smart functions when using Hikvison NVRs?

Since the Loryta are rebranded Hikvisions can/do you still use the official Hikvision firmware when updating the cameras? Firmware use neutral firmware to update.
Also do these cameras support all the smart functions when using Hikvison NVRs? Yes, the only difference is with hikvision logo or without logo.

How to connect to this camera, as the sadp tool doesnt work?

Had my hardware fitted 4 months now and cannot get SADP to see either the cameras or the NVR.

Up to date SADP version 3.0.2.4 = Yes.

Hikvision 7608NI-K2 8P POE NVR working fine.

1x DS-2CD2347G1-LU camera installed and working perfect on my PC and output via HikConnect to my iPhone.

2x DS-2CD2385G1-1 2.8mm cameras all working fine.

Firmware Version: 3.4.108 Build 200102

Just SADP I can't get to work.

3x cameras via CAT5e cables plugged straight into my DVR.

Router connected via the WAN port to the DVR.

NVR connected via a HDMI cable.

Would love to know what I'm doing wrong.

SADP won't see those cameras when the PC is on the LAN as normal. The NVR PoE ports are not (easily) accessible from the LAN.
Though I would have expected it to see the NVR.
Suggestion :
Connect the PC to an unused NVR PoE port to see the cameras.

How is the PC connected?
If via WiFi - connect direct to the router.

Thank you so much
Glad that worked.
But the NVR should still have been visible on the LAN.

And interestingly in your screenshot I see that the G1 firmware is now version 5.6.5
I'd not spotted that new update, issued on 30th April.
I'm going to try it to see if Hikvision have added 'Turn LEDs on' as an event linkage method for the DS-2CD2347G-LU
Though the release notes do not mention it.

Finally put the camera up in my backyard in the same place as the 2142 domes I have which are constantly clouding. This definitely gives an impressive image with only moonlight. Default settings in the image below. I don't think my neighbours had any of their lights on at the time taken (3:45am). I think the reflection on the rear house is how the camera sees the moon light reflecting off the windows of that house.

Impressive that the sky looks almost a blue.

Should be interesting to see what it looks like with an overcast sky later this week.

What settings have folks found to improve the default image?

Here's the "cloudy" image from a few nights ago. Will post a cleaned up image when I put this camera back up as I didn't yet get a proper mount for the new one.

Wait...is that Big Foot in the upper left?

and for a slightly better comparison, a similar 2.8mm wide angle 2142 with IR mode off in the front of the house. I have a street light across the street (upper left so about 100 feet away). If I get a chance will try the colorvu here since the angle would be the same.

Although the ColoVu would likely destroy this, and maybe at some point I'll put it there to confirm, not sure I'd bother replacing this camera.
