Integrating two cameras into one is becoming a pattern in Dahua's labs though, looks they want to maximize on the potentiality of getting every little detail in one shell instead of two; increases the chance of capturing the detail as much as possible.

That is a beast. At 55lbs. I want to see the video of you mounting that thing.

I'm seeing other mfgs doing this with 2,4+ cameras in one housing. A few Axis models have been popping up on the ceiling at my office lately.

I think most users will want the standard rj45 not the M12....Side note - I think most folks are better off with two fixed turrets than one of these...price is almost the same..
I just went with this “fendermendation” for my front door, except I am going to be using one 3.6 mm fixed and one Varifocal.

They key factor in this is to get it pre-proved by the “Minister of the Interior”!

Given what @EMPIRETECANDY gave us as info with the 2 channels, does anyone know how it will play out with a Dahua NVR 4208 ? Is it right to assume that it will record only the selected channel ? Will I be able to switch channel from the Dahua NVR and from the Lechange app ?

Thanks in advance for your input

I'd be interested in a 3.6, or maybe more likely a 6mm too. But....is this model even available in a 6mm? I seem to recall that not showing up as an option on the website.

On the Dahua website, listing the features:
2.8mm fixed lens (3.6mm optional)

It sounds like no 6 mm version. You might contact Andy directly to be sure.

Maybe you could frankenstein together one by pulling the lens from a regular mini-wedge.
