Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I would like to use this with a ring doorbell power supply as I do not have an existing doorbell. Is there a plug in chime I can use with this?

Thank you! That stopped the buzzing.
However, now my bell dings but doesn't dong. I can live with that though.

I fixed it! Now I get both a ding and a dong. I stretched the chime spring and made it a bit longer.
I am guessing adding the camera lowered the speed at which the piston moves so that it wasn't coming back fast enough to hit the upper metal plate. Adding a little more resistance to the spring solved the issue.

Is the resistor required if no chime is used?
The instructions say it it.

Would it be an issue if the transformer was about 7-8 metres away from the bell? Also any recommendations (in the UK) in the wire to to use?

Anyone have a motion alert when the camera switches from color to b&w? This is a fairly new issue, didn't see it before...

I finally picked up my ebay RCA doorbells. For $80.00 each, they are the bargain of the year!

When I log into them via http, they are running pure HikVision firmware! I should have bought additional ones for my family... These work better than I had any right to expect. :)

I just got my laview version from the newegg deal, i need the angle wedge as my doorbell is on the side of the door. Has anyone found an actual wedge i can buy besides the ring pro one that doesnt entirely fit or the one from the clare kit. I done multiple google searches and nothing.thanks

There is only one wedge kit made for these and it is sold with the Clare Control doorbell kits, unfortunately you can only get it if you buy the entire doorbell.

I need a wedge too. Perhaps someone with a 3D printer is interested in making them and selling them? There are plans for the Ring bells here: Things tagged with 'Doorbell' - Thingiverse

I ordered 3D printed items directly from Thingiverse last year, so maybe that is still possible?

Catched Amazon deal, 123.5$ for Laview.
HikHconnect is the best or I should star with original LaViewL

Has anyone gotten the doorbell work with two people? My wife and I both get alerts and can two way talk when pulling up the live feed, but it only allows one of us to get the phone call when the button is pressed. To me that is a deal breaker. Why would it not call both phones?

Is there a way to have this camera record on motion to the SD card but not pop up the motion alert messages on the phone every time there is motion? While allowing someone to push the button to ring the bell?

Same. The button push only alerts the person who has the camera registered to their app. Not the guests.

Yes. If you turn off alerts in the app, it still records motion events to the SD card. And it still push notifies the app when the doorbell button is pushed.
My only gripe so far, is that when someone rings the doorbell, it doesn't record it to the sd card.... and it seems to corrupt or delete the motion recording that started while the person was walking to the door and walking away from the door... so I have no idea who rung my doorbell if I am not at my phone to answer the notification.

Same. I just used my username/password on wife’s app and now we both can answer the doorbell.
