Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

@Ehab Saad Which firmware do you have installed?

The Uniden U-Bell is on sale for $40 at Brandsmartusa; I’m thinking about jumping in...

No I didn't; it still shows as available. I just can't convince myself to pull the trigger.

Here is what I am seeing when I click the link:

What is the best firmware option for the U-Bell? Can we upgrade directly to the latest or do we have to go one by one. Are there instructions for this?

What about app, is Hik Connect the best? Thanks

i bought a laview doorbell camera, it's same as hikvision
LaView HD IP Security LV-PWF80216-W

i connected it to my existing doorbell 16v wired connection (replaced old doorbell button). I am able to see the camera using the mobile laview connect app and also using my Synology surveillance station (NVR). Since this is an IP camera you can connect to it using any software. You can also use a browser to access camera to view live feed and access settings.
The camera also has an sd card so it continuously records.

Great during the day, but at night not the best. Hard to see anything.

Here is a Blue Iris nighttime image from a new LTS6128W-WIFI doorbell style camera, Device Version V1.4.62 build 171219.
The device works as intended IE: doorbell ring and notifications but obviously, there are still issues with dust particles present within the lens during device manufacturing.

Cleaning may help a bit but I think most of that is reflections from the lights in the dome itself.

The lens is clean. Here are a few more Blue Iris stills, one daytime, one without the entrance door wall sconce lights and one with the farthest entrance door sconce on. This is a known issue but I am willing to accept and use with my Blue Iris system since the device does work as intended.FRONT DOOR BELL 2019-2-18 03.00.09.329 PM.jpg FRONT DOOR BELL 2019-2-18 08.11.00.202 PM.jpg FRONT DOOR BELL 2019-2-18 08.10.39.749 PM.jpg

...and lastly, some Blue Iris nighttime exported video, one with entrance door sconce lighting ON and 5000k flood lamps ON, one with entrance door sconce lighting OFF and 5000k LED flood lamps ON, and one video with NO EXTERNAL LIGHTING from the house.

Hope this helps.

Never mind.
I pretty much destroyed the unit with switching off the power a few times.
Now the unit just blinks rapidly red and doesn't come on.
Tried loading the firmware trough the SD card but nothing.
Guess i'm ordering a new one.

I believe there are two different messages people are talking about. In the past, if you didn't respond to a doorbell push notification, the doorbell would play the "subscriber not available" message. This has been removed in 180726 (at least it doesn't occur with my RCA).

What the RCA does do (and what others have described) is play a "subscriber is busy" (or similar wording) message if you decline the call (which requires opening the app). Have you tested both scenarios with your Uniden?
I have Uniden on v1.4.62 build 171114 working fine but I want to get rid of that audio message at the DB1 unit if no one answers else it goes back. I tried update button in app to build 171225 and it says successful but it never takes and is back to 171114. I also tried putting the file at root of memory card and rebooting. Web interface doesn’t respond to click browse for firmware file.
- argh how do I update?
- Some pages show no plugin available message. Related?

IIRC you have to use internet explorer and also install their browser plugin in order to get the browse button to work.

Thank you. I will try that. I did download and install a plugin for Mac safari but it didn’t seem to help.
Question-do I have to load all firmware versions in order or can I go to the end and just do the last one only?
