Yes, I did that a week ago. The user account is fine as I still use it with all the other apps. It's that the account user id is not being accepted by the Hik-Connect backend service. I also have a separate Hik-Connect user account which can still see my cameras from the other apps just fine but the problem is I don't get access to view the alert videos captured by motion detection. Weird thing is the Hik-Connect app icon badge count increments when new alerts are triggered which means it is still somewhat passing along the info but going into Hik-Connect app shows zero messages. Once you log out or close app, the app icon badge count goes back to zero like normal. Unfortunately, I only have Hikvision rebranded Annke cube camera, rebranded EzViz NovaS camera, rebranded RCA video doorbell so calling Hik USA tech support was out of the question on the rebranded serial numbers.
since i got both rca and laview doorbells a few months ago i had tested them extensively. your problem of not seeing the replay clip captured by motion detection but saw the alert counted up was that your doorbell logged out of your phone app (most likely it appeared offline on your phone app) but did not log out of the hikvision backend server.
all you need to do is remove the camera from your phone app and add them back. most of the time for me the scanning QR code did not work and it's troublesome to remove the front screw and cover. and I hate resetting the camera to default setting. instead normally i use the manual adding feature, then add Serial number when the camera just came online (repeat adding serial number when it's offline until it comes online). then use the verification code to finally add the camera back to the phone app.
this manual adding feature only works just after the camera gets rebooted. if the camera is running without reboot then the phone apps always says offline. normally you need to reboot it by cutting of the power or rebooting it from IVMS-4200 app on computer.
The reason i know this is because my transformer only has 16Vac and 10VA. Each doorbell camera has maximum of 12 Watts, equivalent of 12VA. When running only 1 doorbell it was perfectly fine. when running two doorbells at the same time either one or both got disconnected and got trapped into the boot loop. they have both the 171219 firmware. I remembered someone mentioned the firmware fixed boot loop problem but apparently it did not in the underpowered condition. usually during day time both doorbell camera ran fine even with motion detection triggered. but every night when the IR got turned on, especially when both IR and motion detection got triggered, both cameras got trapped in the boot loop rebooting endlessly.
for some reason i could not log onto RCA security phone app with the same credential. i could only use the same credential for hik-connect app and laview app.
i need to find the location of transformer and replace it with 16Vac and 30VA.
