Yes, that is for all update right now.Are the only updates to the UI, and nothing else?
It depends on where the person is. The Auto Day/Night is controlled by the Far/Distant view and not the Close or Mid. You would need enough light far enough out to get that FOV to change, and I don't think 25W is enough for that FOV.Hey Guys, I if got one of these Cameras (i use Frigate not BI) (and got the IR settings dialed in) - if i take the Frigate MQTT stream into Node Red (which is what i do now with my existing cameras) - if i get a high detection probability of person in a certain Zone (say around my car as an example) - if i activate a standard Cool White floodlight - will the camera adjust and turn off the IRs - (so i get a colour picture) or would i also have to use the API to change the mode of the camera ?
So basically
1) Nightime - IR leds on
2) person detected on middle lens by Frigate with a high probability
3) I accept Frigates info stream into my Node Red instance and enable a 25W LED Cool White floodlight
4) Do the cameras Adjust and move to daytime/colour mode ?

This is an interesting camera. Would this be good on top of my mailbox facing down a residential street? How would it do capturing license plates?
I have a situation where this camera could replace 3 cameras, um who am I kidding I will repurpose those for new locations LOL.
It works very well on my back corner with the wide angle providing identify between the houses, the mid range providing identify in the front yard, and the zoom providing close ups out at the street.
This thing is an infrared light cannon and allows me to remove a Tendelux IR blaster to another location.
As pointed out in this thread, there are some cool features for it. It is unfortunate that you have to make a mount if you want to hang from the top, but if hanging vertical, it isn't an issue.
The ability to adjust the vertical aiming from the computer is a nice touch. It isn't a huge range, but enough to get it close and then make final adjustments.
I am still tweaking some things but wanted to show some additional examples for people to see what it can do.
First is daytime. It is cool how you can show all 3 at the same time.

And the zoom in. This is at 115 feet. Looks like the truck is parked.

Here is a person at 95 feet and you can see the Nike logo on the shoes.

Now what surprises me is here is the Z4E (non S3 model so 2019ish) and field of view is roughly the same, so one of the focal lengths is probably off. The older Z4E clarity isn't that much better than this 2MP, showing advancements over time.

At night you can see the IR cannon:

I am still working on the night image, but you can clearly see they are Nike logo shoes.
With a better angle closer to straight on, I am confident that this could be used as an overview with the wide and mid range cameras and LPR for the zoomed in camera at probably 100 feet during the day and 60-70 feet at night. That may be my next test, or purchase during the lottery LOL.
those shots look fantastic
yea, would love one, but physically a bit too big for the location i want to put it in.Yeah, I am pleased with the quality of the 2MP. It beats the 2MP is was replacing and the quality is close enough that I can repurpose my older Z4E to another spot.
For those within 60-70 feet of a good angle for plates, this camera solves the issue that many of us faced of wishing we had another line where we had a camera or having to use a splitter to add a camera for LPR next to it. This camera solves that.
But like every camera, this one certainly has its place and a place where it wouldn't be a good fit. But for a typical subdivision, popping one of these on the back corner facing the street covers a lot of IDENTIFY area with one camera.

yea, im trying to replace an older varifocal 2mp turret from 5 years ago or so.While it looks big, hanging up isn't really that bad. My PTZ looks far worse LOL
So you got this girl leaving during the day and coming back at night. It was a great way to compare day/night...Night school?I have a situation where this camera could replace 3 cameras, um who am I kidding I will repurpose those for new locations LOL.
