Nobody saw him on the ground with a rifle. The theory, as I understand it, is he stashed the rifle somewhere in the area. It seems he would have needed to know the general area where he was going to use it.

The spot he choose also gave him a clear line to the stage but the SS snipers behind trump could not see him because of the tree. My guess is that a drone would have given him all the intel and recon needed to figure that out.

I think the concern behind the question is this: if the shooter could tell that site was an excellent spot, the SS would (should) have seen it as well and placed someone there.
I agree with shot in the ground, but for events like this Rally, why could there not of be a type of Panic button that would set off a siren (could be silent), for all that is responsible for security? Triggered by phone or by their communications, I mean something that would of got Trump off stage...

Someone on a bike at a public event is not unheard of. It's not terribly uncommon for people to bring a bike to an event so they can get from the parking lot to the event easier. In this case, there looked like a lot of area outside of the perimeter where people could watch and hear the rally. There's also a residential area across the street from the park where people could bike in from.
As I understand the events, the team in the window saw the shooter on the ground below the window. They took the picture and sent it out. That's one of the pictures that have been released. The team left the building to go find the shooter. While the team was on the ground, the shooter climbed on the roof.

Yep the bike had a backpack. They discovered it after the shooting. Said it was his.
But they also said the white van with AZ plates was his and had the explosives…
Apparently AR was a folding stock and was in the backpack

Can you imagine the chaos at an event if you took an agricultural drone and modified it for terror? The Secret Service apparently can't do shit to prevent chaos. There needs to be a huge technology surveillance upgrade of protection. And with a total moron like Kim Cheatbitch running the show, it's wide open for terrorists.
