If Putin takes over and occupies Ukraine, there will be lots of dead Russians at the hands of the Ukrainian people during that occupation.

There are ethnic and speaking Russians all over Ukraine. It matters not if they want to be part of Russia. Right now Putin's troops are killing those Russians, along with other civilians, in Ukraine.
