There are roughly 122 million registered voters in the US according to the most current voting roles from all 50 states and DC. Biden got ~80 million and President Trump got ~74 million. That's a total of 154 million. Where'd the excess ~30 million votes come from? Did they just "magically" appear, somehow, in the vote tallies? Can we all say voting fraud together?

According to that bastion of truth the Washington Post (sarcasm) , there was an approx 66.2% turnout of registered voters..



There are approx 212-213 million registered voters in the US




Now they say that Trump got approx 74 million votes, and claim that Harris/Biden got 81 million... (cough, spit)



That adds up to 155 million votes

Except....
66.2% of 213 million is only 141 million

So either
A) WaPo is off a whopping 10% in their estimate of voter turnout
or
B) You ga su 'splaining to do Lucy..

“Chinese intelligence once recruited a staff member at a California office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, and the source reported back to China about local politics,” Politico Magazine reported on July 27, describing the staffer as “a liaison to the local Chinese community” who was secretly “reporting back” to Chinese intelligence services.
Since then, more details have emerged about the alleged spy, including that he worked for Feinstein for 20 years, “attended Chinese consulate functions for the senator” and was fired five years ago.

California Rep. Eric Swalwell, whose contacts with a Chinese spy were revealed this week, spoke at a same event in 2013 as another alleged Chinese agent who worked for decades for California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.


The event was hosted by the group led by Christine Fang, a Chinese national whose relationship with Swalwell was the subject of a report published this week by Axios. There is no indication of wrongdoing on Swalwell’s part.

The California State University, East Bay Chinese Student Association hosted both Swalwell and Russell Lowe, who then worked for Feinstein, at an event to commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Feb. 9, 2013, according to the group’s Facebook page.

The washington post says "two-thirds of the voting eligible population" which is not the same number as registered voters

No i said the figure they quoted is that 66% of adults old enough to vote turned out. Not 66% of people registered. This will be a higher percentage as the number of registered is lower than eligible

You say 213 registered

15500/213 = approx 72% of registered voters


EDIT before I am jumped on, I know there were not 158 million votes. but with numbers so large, 66.2% is not accurate enough, every decimal place of the percentage would give different results but they are rounding off for simplicity.

The problem with these sites that summarize voter registration and talk about turn out is that they all use different terminology or report different data. After @sebastiantombs post #6011 I decided to look into that claim. What I found was hundreds of sites that at first glance, seem to report summaries as facts. Some of these sites, the ones that come up first in a Google search, are obvious 'progressive' leaning sites as they talk about easing requirements on registration and restoring felon's right to vote. So one has to take the data with a grain of salt.

But they toss around 'registration percentage' in very loose terms. Some report percent registered as a percentage of the total population. Some report it as the percent of adults over 18 that are registered. While others look at the total number of eligible adults that are registered. They also misrepresent the percentage of people that voted. Some report it as a percentage of the total population, some as the percentage of eligible voters, while others proport to calculate it against registered voters.

But a lot of that is moot. People die. That has been proven over and over. But they do not get removed from the voter rolls, at least in most states. There is no procedure that removes a voter from the rolls when they die. No one in the voter registration office gets a notification when someone dies. They do not get the death certificate mailed to them. The only time rolls get purged is when they look at those people that have not voted for years and puge them. But many states do not do this anymore as Democrats have always fought against it claiming it hurts minorities and it is a form of Republican voter suppression.
