US Elections (& Politics) :)

See, here's the problem.

Liberals see a headline on Twatter or Farcebook put out by the Junta and/or deranged MSM, and call it fact forever with little or no investigating the actual story themselves. That would require work, effort.

Then a few days goes by and the adults actually look into said headline and find, it might just be bullshit. But the liberal never gets there in his head, because the echo chamber of Twatter and Farcebook must be right, right?

US Official Refutes Arizona Prosecutors' Claims About Rioters Plans To "Capture & Assassinate" Politicians | ZeroHedge

Having already seen DHS refute the FBI's fearmongering over "online chatter", noting that there were in fact "no credible threats," the top Federal prosecutor has just been forced to refute what appears be lies about strong evidence about assassination squads in The Capitol by Arizona state prosecutors.
Having made every mainstream media's news-cycle today, and done a great job of ratcheting up the fear to '11':

Rush To Judgment On Trump? Multiple Leftists Arrested For Capitol Riot | ZeroHedge

Even the press is starting to notice that the pieces aren't fitting together. Rather than a picture of all wicked and crazed Trump supporters, charging the Capitol, leftist news outfit Bloomberg reported that its survey of various parties involved, including those who died or were arrested, didn't paint the desired picture. Conclusion?
Many of those shown in news footage had no party affiliation and voted sporadically, if at all.

FACT- trump lost fair and square no matter how many people voted for him. More people didn't.
FACT- You'll keep your guns in the next 4 years. No one is after your 2nd amendment rights.
FACT- all the anti socialists took the previous stimulus money, 1,200, 600, and maybe the next 2k. When the it works for you, hands outstretched. Let's please be real about that one.
FACT- you'll never be swayed. It's ok- that's what THEY want. If I play you a shit song enough times...you'll will hum it.

Hi @Shockwave199

1) FACT- trump lost fair and square no matter how many people voted for him. More people didn't.

It was not a balanced and level playing field by any measure. Claiming it was clearly shows a major bias.

NY Post article was censored prior to the election.
Mail in voting occurred prior to the debates
2nd debate was dropped.

and much more.

Certainly not a fair election by any means.

2) FACT- You'll keep your guns in the next 4 years. No one is after your 2nd amendment rights.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris has made it clear they are after our 2nd amendment rights, numerous and repeated times.

If you believe otherwise, then you are not clear of what the Bill of Rights are.

Just a question of time... just a question of time...

Why does he look so psychotic? I know, he is psychotic.

.. Therein lies the problem folks. Your 'proof' is built on a foundation of lies piled one on top of the other. ..

Hi Shockwave,

Also do pay attention to the narrative which AOC and others are assembling... this is getting dangerous when those in power will do whatever they can to increase their power.

Even AOC claims we do not have Free and Fair elections in her rant..

Here's some Brits discussing this issue:

CRENSHAW: To Understand Illogical Lockdowns, We Must Understand The Left’s Thinking | The Daily WireCRENSHAW: To Understand Illogical Lockdowns, We Must Understand The Left’s Thinking | The Daily Wire

If a lockdown worked the first time, why are we doing it again?
If a lockdown didn’t work the first time, why are we doing it again?

One of the most striking observations of the pandemic is that our society’s reactions have fallen almost completely along partisan lines.

The initial explanation for such stark differences was a familiar one — whatever Trump favors, the left opposes. While this is often true, it doesn’t offer a full explanation. Over the past 8 months, I have seen for myself who is truly frightened and who is not, and who is asking the government for more action and who is not. I have seen how the demeanor of New Yorkers and New Englanders differs to that of my fellow Texans.

At the heart of the disparity regarding our attitudes to the COVID-19 response is the subject of risk assessment. The perception of risk differs widely between liberals and conservatives, as well as the decisions made when confronting risky situations. Research shows that Democrats and Republicans differ in the neural mechanisms activated during risk-taking exercises, specifically in the amygdala region. This demonstrates measurable physiological differences when confronted with risk.

POLITICO Playbook: The real reason most Republicans opposed impeachment

Conservatives see the game. It doesn’t matter whether you held your nose when voting for Trump; it doesn’t matter if you denounced his prevarications about a “stolen election” (for the record, I was met with great ire when I declared the night of the election that Trump’s declaration of victory was “deeply irresponsible”).

If you supported Trump in any way, you were at least partially culpable, the argument goes. It’s not just Trump who deserves vitriol — it’s all 74 million people who voted for him.

And that claim, many conservatives believe, will serve as the basis for repression everywhere from social media to employment. Evidence to support that suspicion wasn’t in short supply this week:

— Parler, the social media competitor to Twitter, was taken off the internet entirely by Amazon Web Services. AWS pointed to violent and threatening posts appearing on Parler as the rationale for the takedown. But as the single journalist most targeted by anti-Semitism on Twitter in 2016, as assessed by the ADL (I’ve got the medal on my shelf), I can fairly attest that Twitter is no wonderland. And according to The Washington Post, new evidence suggests that Facebook was used by Capitol rioters to coordinate, too. Will tech companies dump them, too?

To conservatives, the deplatforming of Parler looked far more like political retaliation than good housekeeping, especially after social media’s decision to downgrade the New York Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden in the month leading up to the election.

— GoDaddy kicked AR15.com, the biggest gun forum in the world, offline.

— Corporations ranging from AT&T to Marriott, from Dow to Airbnb, announced they would cut off all political giving to Republicans who had challenged electors. No such consequences ever attended Democrats who winked and nodded — and sometimes more — at civil unrest around the nation emerging from Black Lives Matter protests and antifa violence over the summer.

Furthermore, many conservatives doubt that Democrats are applying any sort of neutral standard toward Trump in pursuing impeachment.
..

But one thing is certain: If anyone expects Americans to come together once the Trump era is over, that’s a pipe dream.

Our social fabric is torn. It was torn before Trump. And, as it turns out, the incentive structure of modern politics and media cuts directly against stitching it together again.

Ben Shapiro on the reaction of his writing for Politico's Playbook

My Thoughts on the INSANE Reaction to My Politico Playbook Piece

If you were duly elected by the majority of the people and some of the ones who lost stormed the capital coming within an inch of hanging pence and murdering Pelosi and holding hostage the rest with the intent to assassinate, you were radicalized by the big lie, courtesy of the president and many republicans who perpetuated it. And yeah if need be, you need our brave men and women to blow the fucking heads off of anyone who thinks that's gonna happen again.

I'm not blind to the sell out of the entire system by both parties.
Sorry if I am intruding but isn't this idea considered true regardless of party affiliation? I ask because the same is happening all across the west.

I may be wrong but it seems like western banking and economic systems had officially gone off the rails more than a decade ago, well before COVID but made worse, and we're seeing a fight for control of a new system. This isn't a democrat vs republican fight. This isn't about Trump. Not really. Debt slavery destroyed Rome and it will destroy the west. Those demonstrating at the white house are fighting not to be scapegoats for the sellouts. They need help because we ought to know they are not the ones responsible.

A capital cop got murdered, or has that one been twisted into delusion too. Another cop was dragged and beaten to within an inch of his life. A woman was shot and killed while entering with a forceable mob, and that's very regrettable. A whole lot of people got caught up in something way more serious than they bargained for. Put it this way, if there was 30 or so people beating down your front door right now and one got in with the mob following, would you ask nicely what they want? Or would you take your stashed guns and start blowing the fuckers away? Those people saw the guns drawn on them. It was no surprise the dice they were rolling. Sorry to say, she gambled, she lost. And that's terrible but it's just what you risk when you join an angry mob and storm the capital man.

You want help, vote. Federal crimes and murder does not a point for help make.
Yes, that's what everyone should do. Agreed. Sorry if it seems I was suggesting anything else. I have no dog in the Trump fight.

Notice that republicans tend to favor systems and that these systems are failing because the new aristocracy is based mostly, not solely at the moment, on power. Systems are being ignored. Republican supporters are just beginning to understand this new reality.

Oligarchs are busy making themselves into a new type of aristocrat using their power. Government is blending and merging with the oligarchies. From what I can understand very few of the oligarchs are from the US. Trump IMHO just represents a different set of oligarchs (one of them recently deceased). Insane levels of rhetoric are causing people to fight because the rules are unclear. A mix of old systems and power struggles dominate. Voting may not matter. How you provide for your family is unclear.

Again, the fight is not about Trump IMHO. It's about not being pawns and scapegoats to those seeking power. There could be a lot of death otherwise. Please don't buy into the rhetoric.

I federal cop did not get murdered. The cop who dies later that day had heart issues. He was not hit by a fire extinguisher. But you won’t hear that on your beloved CNN or MSNBC or ABC or NBC or XYZ. Only an unarmed female got shot and killed by a federal police. The narrative of five killed is an outright lie. The other deaths were Trump supporters who died of health issues mostly heart attack.
